The Kroenkes don't have a war chest so let's not kid ourselves. It's all down to deals with kids and contract rebels from other clubs. I'm resigned to Mustafi staying beyond January, but I will be absolutely gutted if he survives next summer. At 27 he shd be playing the game of his life, but watching him the only consolation is that he cost a lot less than Maguire.

We have already seen improvements in them under Arteta. I expect that to continue as the season progresses. The only one who I think will be on the way out is Mustafi. I think its obvious that one reason those 3 have looked worse than they are is because of how they are protected in midfield. I expect that to continue to improve as well.

Upamecano is not coming to Arsenal especially without CL football. Forget about him

Contracts mean even more these days because transfer fees are so astronomical compared to wages that clubs make sure even poor players are contracted to long contracts. This means the clubs are often handcuffed in trying to move them.
