Did Spurs lose? Under the last manager Spurs would have been out of the cup now.
Thought you played some good attacking football today actually. Defence is more the problem.

Based on what?
When Jose came in I expected shet football but solid defence and more clean sheets. Instead, we have terrible football and letting in more goals than before. He has done nothing so far to improve us. He isn't the right person for us.
Mind you, neither is Levy. This club needs a massive overhaul.

Colchester?
can live with counter attacking football
can't live with desperately clinging on after we score rather than trying to control the game

Not Jose’s fault. We were playing even worse under Pochettino. All the blame is on Levy now.

Colchester we drew against, like today, but we've also won matches under Poch too and reached 2 finals and 3 semis under him, so again there's not really any evidence to suggest we'd have done worse today.
Get behind the manager you absolute shambles.
Christ... Moronic fans over reacting &
blaming Mourinho!!
We was playing turgid, slow football under Poch..ball being passed relentlessly along the back four... back to Lloris to kick the ball to the opposition, or off the pitch... doesn’t anyone remember that?!!
Even Sir Alex Ferguson in his prime, would struggle with our group of players..
These players contributed to Poch getting sacked... a good clear out is needed!!

he was anonymous, sandy probably already forgot he played
If we had a top class finisher we win that game comfortably, Son and Lucas both guilty of wasting chances.
The blame falls on our illustrious leader and nobody else.
I said on another thread that Jose is very pragmatic and controlled in his system?
I think it's fair to say it can be a tough watch at times, if he wins you something then fair play but watching it week in, week out can be tough?

the problem is that it often isn't controlled. Today after we scored we were just happy to let Southampton create chances and hope they would miss, rather than actually trying to control the game and see it out sensibly.

No, A) we're unlikely to win anything as we will have to play a good team at some stage.
B) A domestic cup does not make up for dreadful boring football every week. We won't qualify for the champions league again with this rubbish football
He's been in the job a matter of months, currently has no recognised number 9 and probably wants to reshape this squad over the next 12-18 months as well. Calling for his head already is really just because the fans don't like Mourinho personally rather than his ability.
