I watched almost all of your game on Friday and thought you were lucky to keep it to two. At least your fans got to have one of the bridies at the game which are terrific.

Watched the game on Friday night and said on here that he must be running out of time.

If there was someone available then it would be about the right time. If we keep playing the way we are then we will miss out on the play offs and could even end up in the relegation play offs.

We need an actual manager, which we’ve not had in years, who can turn us into challengers next season.

Whoever gets to the play off final this season is not winning it anyway.

Players' confidence can't get any lower so we're not losing anything by changing the manager now.

I'm not sure I'd have the confidence in Nelms to appoint the right man anyway.

My view is you should have got someone in at the start of the window. He will need a couple of windows to get his team set up for next season's title challenge. If you wait until the end of the season chances are your making 11 signings and it doesn't work - which is exactly what we did every year after coming down.

I don't think we need that many new players though. Crankshaw is looking good on loan from Wigan and could be what we are missing. We've had far too many overhauls of the squad in recent years. Happy with the majority of the players we have and could add a couple more in key positions in summer when the new manager has had enough time to assess the current squad. I have no idea who this new manager would be as Strachan keeps refusing my advances. It has been about 3 years now that I have been pursuing him.

If I were in charge of Dundee, the priority would be to get in a new defence (i think all are dreadful) and push the boat out to sign Nisbett from Dunfermline. I think that would get you up.

Back in the day I would be able to name starting elevens of most top clubs up here, now out with Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers I haven’t a clue, Shankland, Pawlett then after that not a scoobie

We have a proven 20+ a season Premiership striker. He just gets the ball lumped up to him in this team. We need a couple of good wingers to give him service and he will score. Nisbett wouldn't even get a touch of the ball in this current team. Shankland would literally starve to death.

The only Aberdeen player I know is Stuart Cosgrove

Couldn’t disagree more Pawlett had a decent game on Saturday made some good runs when they moved him to a central role in second half from out wide he looked really good normally I would agree he is a waste of space we were shocking our front two got no service at all we badly need a decent winger who could cross a ball as McMullan is useless at that we were not helped by Reynolds and Connolly just endlessly passing the ball to each other for whole match instead of getting it forward we were far too slow at getting up the park until last 5 minutes when they finally got their act together

I'm not with you on that Chucky. I thought he contributed little and is a waste of a jersey in the wider areas. I'll give you that he improved when he went centrally but he doesn't give us enough when in the team and we're a better team without him.

Agree that the buildup was far too slow and we gave them far too much time to get into position - credit to them they were well organised.

I would say giving Neilson the free reign to sign players is a big mistake. Pawlett is awful, the King brothers dinnae even go there. Sow could do something but again was signed on historical evidence. Giving McMullan an extended contract is alright for the Championship but top-flight he'll be posted missing.

Have to say I'm impressed with Powers. However, what stood out was when in possession he didn't have one option showing for the ball going forward against Hibs.

As for the new Dundee manager, only one option and that is Stewart Petrie. He's a Dee and deserves a chance at a bigger club than Montrose, although not that DFC are that much bigger these days.

ICT are on 35 points after 21 games yet are in 2nd place. You'd struggle to find any league in Europe where 2nd has such a low points-per-game ratio. Croatian top league runs them close with 35 points in 19 games but that's all I could come up with.
Shows what a cut-throat league it is down there and it's great to finally have risen above it.
