And really Bournemouth just wanted a fight in the second half. Some petulance still exists that allowed Bournemouth a scrappy goal. But they did nothing.

So I am sure all the anti-arsenal pessimists will look at allowing a goal in injury time. But it was nothing.

Good display all in all but need to keep up over the whole game. Created little second half.

Martinez in goal really needs to improve coming out of his goal. We need a calm and assured goalkeeper. He was awful today.

Good performance. We could have taken more advantage from our dominance in the first half with maybe a 3rd goal but overall I am delighted.

A player coming back from long term injury and feeling his way back into top level football. ? Selling him will be a tad hasty don't you think?

Yeah. People don't realise that this was the FA CUP. Bournemouth were at home and threw the kitchen sink. But they did absolutely nothing. Just wanted to get into fights and jump into our players to break our rhythm. They managed that but it didn't get them anything. We have to learn to be a bit harder and not so petulant but that comes from confidence and results. Onward and upward from Arteta.

The whole team switched off for the Bournemouth goal. Standard speculative in-swinging ball into the box and nobody was marking anyone.

I'm not having that. Any one of the other kids would have hit the deck at the slightest contact. Saka's already been booked twice for taking the theatrics a bit too far.

Kids nowadays already have the dark arts drilled into them by 15 years of age.
