It would be great if we could get a third. We live in hope.
two up doesn't fully calm the nerves
I Just want 3 points .im not bothered about goals 18 more wins will do the trick.
Just a tad hopeful there Golden.
careful GWD we ain't won this one yet
Southend score in 96th minute 2-1
3 excellent points.
Will Hill be changing the line up after a 2-0 win and a good display? I think that he may be tempted to but would it be a good decission?
I’m still optimistic 😉
With lots of new faces to choose from for the next game a slow introduction of one change at a time would be good to start with
Agree pasty but only if the player to be replaced had a medioca game.
in reality I'm not so sure KH will resist the temptation
That is also my feeling.
That' me done for today guys. You really can enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
Finally we can enjoy watching Quest
Pasty, Don't forget the other option. They could go on the bench on brought on if needed.
Cheers Benny well worth the 5* today
Cracking win for the Wanderers.
As for possible team changes - I think that would depend squarely on who out of the new signings impress in training enough to come straight in.
Ghost, that will be the ultimate acid test. One comment in Hills post-match interview was very telling. “But this performance was pretty secure. There was energy, hard work, football intelligence and it resembled a team."
I refer to "and it resembled a team." I think that is the first time that Hill has said that.
That for me is what we perhaps haven't had of late but is so important. Perhaps he should let the same team start our next game but have decent options on the bench. I'd settle for that instead of going for changes on the back of a good win.
Didn't get the chance to post much yesterday. Thought the 4-3-3 worked better and suited the players out there. The spine was back. Bryan looks a quality centre back and he and nsiala already have formed a solid partnership we haven't had since Hobbs got injured. Bryan comes out with the ball too. Quality at this level. Lowe more or less sat in front of the back four. Tranmere were poor and the only worry was Matthews punching not catching. Best I've seen politic play and O'Grady who did a shift up and down the left and joining in the attack. Hopefully can get another win at Coventry.
New boys Delaney and Mellis starting tonight for the U23's - Bunney starting as well.
It gives them some game time and to get up to speed.
Tranmere 0 Doncaster 3🙃🙃🙃 final score.
The Tranmere result is a good one for us but we need to look at the other clubs around us.
I suppose not finishing at the bottom of the pile would be something although relegation still looks the most realistic scenario.
