Giving debuts doesn't mean he developed players.

Look at the young players Klopp has brought through and then find me an example of Guardiola doing the same.

City have lost the influence of Kompany but they’ve spent big bucks on their defence. Stones, Laporte, Walker etc

There’s no transition that I can see.

Aguero is the best forward in the league. KDB is the best midfielder. Sterling would get in any team in the world.

Liverpool have beaten City psychologically this year. We’re seemingly invincible and City feel it after every win we rack up.

Busquets went on to be the best defensive midfielder in the world.

sergi roberto has played for barca his whole career.

thiago learnt his trade under pep then went onto bayern to have an oustanding career.

Right, and how long ago were they? Anything from recent history?

Anyone at City?

Sancho left because of a lack of opportunity and is doing brilliantly. Suggests that maybe Pep isn't giving youngsters enough of a chance at City perhaps?

Sancho left at 17.

its easy to give youngsters a chance iff you're doing completely chit like us. less so when youre winning the pl by 100 points.

Absolutely it's more difficult. But that doesn't mean what I'm saying is incorrect and it also doesn't change the fact that they do not have a crop of youngsters coming through that can ease the burden of replacing an aging squad.

They have money, they dont need a crop of youngsters. like us, its a nice bonus, not a necessity.

Didn't say they needed it, did I?

Then easing the burden is not relevant. Its not a burden.

they just need to buy a couple of players to replace two players that are leaving and a couple that arent up too par.

In one summer that is not exactly a big ask.

Also sancho for as well as he is doing isnt as good as sterling and would rightly not be playing at all if he was there.

It is a burden.

Just because it can be dealt with by throwing money at it doesn't mean it's not.

Ok but it isnt.

Ole has bought through a few players, made us worse in the process and still has about 10 players to replace. that to me seems like a far bigger burden.

It’s part of the game that we all adhere to. Losing influential players isn’t exclusive to City.

We lost Coutinho and people will look back on it as the catalyst for our success over the last couple of seasons.

Never said it was.

Why can't we discuss the issues City have without it being taken as some sort of dig at Liverpool?
