The kid needs to play.. either at Spurs or on loan. He cant be any worse than playing 2 wingers up front

Surprised it’s only a 3 year deal. Hopefully had a option for another year

I guess he will be chirping at his new contract

He certainly won't play much under Jose, so will need a loan deal.

Jose gave him some minutes against Burnley so why wouldn't he again?

He will be a useful addition to Jose when parakeeting the bus.

Jose gave him his PL debut. He has since said he's not ready for to step up yet and doesn't want to ruin his career by rushing him.

Which is fair enough

He'll say the right things but he'll never put trust in a player like that - we saw it at United.

He's built a career from buying players, not developing them.

Should go out on loan

Like new signing

José has played Sessegnon, Parrott, Lo Celso and Tanganga more than Poch did (and ever would have). José didn't buy any of these players, yet plays them regularly

Chequebook manager though

Parrott minutes under poch - 66
Parrott minutes under Jose - 5

Lo Celso was injured for the majority of his time under poch but when fit played the last two poch games back 2 back so the evidence is he would’ve played lots under poch.

Also Jose just spent £27m on Lo Celso so he is a cheque book manager

GLC and Sessegnon were more available for Jose than Poch, so this is unfair. Plus Jose has had just one window so far. Let's see how things turn out when he gets a few of them.

What's the difference?

They're both very young players who came through the academy. Neither had much, if any PL experience, before José came in.

You said he won't develop players or trust them. Yet has given Tanganga numerous games in 3 different positions.

posted on 6/2/20

The difference is their position.

Look at how he treated Rashford.

I should have took Parrott out of that bit

Technically, Lo Celso was Poch's signing - and he hardly played him. Tottenham triggered the buy after José gave him a good run in the team and justified turning the loan with obligation to full contract with the club.
