The difference is their position.

Look at how he treated Rashford.

You never mentioned anything about positions until now... Not that it should matter anyway?!

You rely on strikers to score.
You rely on defenders to prevent them scoring.

You can't say José is a chequebook manager and doesn't trust young strikers and won't develop them. Yet, he WILL play young defenders and develop them....

Doesn't make much sense.

Of course it matters.

Central striker in a team that plays one up top is very different to a full back.

Are you really going to argue that Jose is a manager who develops young players? Seriously?

Obviously in the past, he has been a chequebook manager.

I'm just commenting on YOUR comments that he doesn't trust young players, when clearly he has (obviously this depends what position they play though )

He doesn't trust young players generally - there are a few exceptions, but that doesn't change the point.

Ok. So at least that's cleared up then...

What about left wing/wing back? Does it count if he plays a young player there?

CM/CDM - Does that count?

Well yes it is.

Call it the exception that proves the rule, if you like.

Parrott needs a loan deal, championship preferably now, is it too late for loans this season? If so they need to sort him a season long loan next season at a decent club

If we got a striker in, I'm sure he would have gone out on loan.

Can only assume we've kept him as emergency cover if Son and/or Lucas get injured.

At his age he needs to be playing regularly, so maybe isn't good enough, hasn't even been on bench for PL, needs a decent loan
