League
CL
FA Cup
Unbeaten in league
100 points in that order.
It’s all about trophies.
As many have said, when the league is sewn up before February is done, rotate the squad and play the big guns in the search for more silverware.
Winning the League, Super Cup,World Cup and either they FA or CL is much better than 100+ league points
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Each to their own but I'd rather have over 100 points than a few of those
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A few? 100 points over CL or FA Cup?
It would be quite poetic (given the amount of shiiiit thrown) for Liverpool's first PL win to a new points record and unbeaton - basically making it an indisputable best PL season.

They will lose a PL game in trying to win the CL imo. Chelsea will knock them out of the FA Cup.
---------------------------------------------------------------------Every time Liverpool are mentioned, this fella shows what a bad bad loser he is.

I think Klopp will continue to play the youngsters and back up squad in the fa cup. I expect Chelsea to knock us out in the next round. The CL is interesting. Over two legs we just seem on another level in europe. Never lost a two leg tie since klopp has been with us.
As for going unbeaten, city away will be the one. I think they'll be so up for it that they'll be hard to live with on that day. We'll see what happens though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surprised at this - haven’t looked fixtures but is that because of congestion or you think he’ll be loyal to the kids?

Sounds reasonable GT, I guess he wouldn’t want to hang the kids out to dry.
If you continue to progress it’d be interesting to see what he does though.
With the league sewn up he could in theory go for it.

I personally dont see why we wouldn't play our strongest team to be honest. The game is in between two very winnable prem games and the league is pretty much done anyway. If we beat Norwich next up we'll realistically need 4 wins from our last 12. We should go all out on every front now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh, I suppose that brings us back to the article and what Klopp ranks as most important.
He won't have started out in targeting an unbeaten season, record points totals etc. but now it's in reach, arguably those may be more appealing than the FA Cup.
I'd like to think not, but who knows.
I think Chelsea will beat Liverpool in the FA Cup
Arsenal v Liverpool will be the rare occasion when Arsenal actually play well.
As for the CL.Dont see them retaining it
If Pool win the league early they might ease off which makes me doubt they can go the season unbeaten. Probably end up loosing to Norwich or whatever..
The cups are a one off and don't see why they cant do it.
Records would be nice but Ill be one happy bunny once the league is confirmed.
Anything after that is a bonus.

Arsenal can’t defend, never mind them playing well!
The fans want as many trophies as possible...what Klopp targets is anyone's guess. Up until this point he's clearly put the domestic cups right at the bottom of his to do list. He probably has taking a daily dump way above those 2 things.
Last season when we were trailing City, he always spoke about getting the maximum points we can in the league and if it's enough to finish above City then we finish above City. That same mentality has been kept this season.
The CL will always be a target for any club that partakes in it....and right now every team in Europe wants to beat us. It's going to be difficult but we have yet to lose a two-legged tie in Europe since Klopp came in. The good part though is that a lot of the elit clubs in Europe aren't exactly pulling up trees atm. It's there for the taking.
Personally I want everything. Treble Invincible Centurions.
It's not really accurate to compare them to Arsenal if they "only" manage the league and don't win the CL, considering they won it last season. It's still part of the legacy of this Liverpool team, whereas unfortunately that great Arsenal team don't have that.

As soon as we sew up the PL we could lose every remaining game for all I care. It’s been far too long and has been one hell of a way we’ve gone from making 3 European finals, to winning the CL, super cup, CWC and then destroying the PL.
We’ve nothing to prove
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apart from whether or not you can win the league without 4 of 5 rivals being in complete disarray to help out. No you don't.
I think you could toss a coin on it myself. All depends on what being invincible means to Klopp. I can't see the players or fans as a whole, wanting anything less than PL, CL and invincible. They can play it down as much as they want but any team wanting the ultimate football accolade crown now, in the PL, HAS to be invincible to get it.
Liverpool fans don't want to have to hear "But ya STILL couldn't beat the invincibles. No top team's fans will, from the position they're in. They've got a fight on their hands with Klopp though. The amount of fuss he's made about game count, I just can't see him risking his 1st team, with CL still on the line. For the sake of being invincible. Being so far ahead is the enemy where that's concerned.
