Great place met a wee lovely in there 1989
Thanks Silver, no problems. It was good to see a familiar face playing over here. Shame more ex old firm players don't come over and play in this league.

Yes it is Duke. I have passed by it many times but never been in it. Need to make a point of checking it out sometime.
1989! Perth has changed a lot since then! First time. I came over here was 1996 and the place is like day and night since then.
Used to drink there and a pub called Aberdeens strangely it was right at the bottom of Aberdeen St.
We stayed in Maylands and then Leederville (excuse the spelling)
I still remember that lovely Irish nurse with some affection

very well
Yes very well indeed.
Used to live a stones throw away from the Phoenix stadium.
Shame they were terrible and only pulled about 8k people Hasn't changed by the sounds of it.
Interesting OP G3r.
I'd forgotten all about GC.
Fella who 6 years ago built my house extension's previous job was a
villa in Spain for Cooper so I just assumed he'd retired there.

Haha, they don't promote what they call soccer over here. Their AFL is better promoted and they don't let the "soccer" league or A League as it's officially called, play through the winter months, which means it would be better attended.
Still it's better than nothing.

MQ, Garry Cooper lol.
I need to have a read up and see what the story is about him playing over here. I get the impression he is over here just for this season to knock a few goals in then head back to England to get a fresh start with a new club.
Would love to have seen Scott brown over here. It was rumoured he could be signing for Melbourne, but he ended up extending with Celtic. Hope he ends up over here for at least a season, but I can see him getting a coaching role at Celtic when he retires this season when Rangers get 55 and stop 9 in a row. Haha

Duke, looks like you started a trend in Mayland's, see link below!

It's being gentrified now and is nicknamed g_ aylands because it's the suburb with most g_ ays living in it. Bayswater is second I think according to this link, IE G_ ayswater lol.
Aberdeen's is called Aberdeen Hotel now I believe and is a nice place for a night out.
Leederville, top area too for living and night life.
By the way, apparently s_ ex and g_ ays are banned words. So even in the URL above I needed to add a dash and space into these words! Crazy!
Can't believe they named a stadium after me
G3r<MQ, Garry Cooper lol.>
Understandable error.
Ah wiz sleep deprived.
And both were great shots.

Enjoy Zach.
Looks like a bit of needling going on between the camps.
57 mph winds today in Edinburgh.
Might have a say in the outcome.
Waiting on Zach at pub in Haymarket

I bet they are going for a packet outside the ground.
Here's hoping we do a number on them - Jones was giving it laldy in the papers this week. He's a right arrogant cant.
