I'm confused, do sit on the fence or do I actively root for jose to fail at spurs?

Any way the comments are pretty generic but at least he’s already thinking about next season and hopefully putting in proper planning towards it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A cynic, taking into account his behaviour in his last job, might suggest he's getting his excuses in early. Lost track of how many times he whinged at United about how his squad wasn't good enough, deflecting attention away from his own inadequacies.

We'll see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

and Ole has proved him so wrong!

Despite our upheaval, we've gained 4 points on Utd since Jose's arrival, as well as +4 pts on Sheff Utd, +8pts on Chelsea +9 pts on Arsenal, maintained pace with Leicester and gained 1 more than Wolves.

This has put us back in the mix for top 4. Feck entertainment if we can get through this season with a top 4 placing!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly. It hasn’t been perfect, but 100% we have improved under Mourinho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely Don, I remember all that sideways and backwards rubbish under Pochettino, where Spurs had 75 per cent possession and still didn`t win games, hardly troubled the opposition, and couldn`t break down a packed defence for love nor money.

I am much happier as it is now, 35 or 40 per cent possession, but scoring two or three goals every game.

Cannot understand why so many of our supporters are still moaning. I am loving it. Not perfect, but a whole lot better than three months ago.

Because we watch things for entertainment value and also support the team... and for 80 minutes of games we are watching our team get pummeled and play horrific/no football. wont get away with the teams missed chances for ever.

Yes possession is such a stupid stat (as Leicester proved in their pl winning season). Its not about how long you have the ball its about what you do with it when you've got it.

That is a good example but then you have City, Liverpool, united and Chelsea off teams that won leagues by dominating possession majority of the time.

Possession isnt entertaining football though. Just be able to put a couple of passes together and dont sit the defence on the edge of our box when we cant defend, have no full backs or a dm

Yes possession for possession sake is boring but your more likely than not to come out on top in games.

You don't score two/three goals a game if you cannot string passes together. Bit of a myth all this boring negative football. It isn't.

An effective team must be able to mix it up. Long balls with possession football.

Well I’m all good. We got lucky plenty of times under Pochettino including our CL run last season which was fantastic, but incredibly lucky. I never heard supporters complaining then of no possession and being lucky we were the greatest thing since sliced bread then. Exact same thing happens against City and Southampton, where we get 2 excellent wins, yet Mourinho gets blasted for it on here, baffling. We had barely any possession against City in that 2nd leg in the CL. We got completely dominated by Ajax in pretty much both games of the CL, bar an excellent 2nd half fight back in Amsterdam. Was hardly plain sailing under Poch in certain games guys.

====================

Maybe but after that period we should have been kicking into gear and up the intensity and move on to the next chapter after having had a brilliant building foundations phase? Yet we stuttered mainly due to lack of players being shifted on and new players brought in.

Jose has a tricky job on his hands and my worry is that he might just leave this job if it gets to a point the club doesn’t back him in the transfer market.

I believe Jose is doing the right thing. He’s steadying the ship very gently and recently we have added an amazing player in Steven as a sign of things to come

Let’s be honest. A month ago none of us would have foreseen us only four points from CL place and in the next round of the fa cop?

Thing is... Surely anyone, no matter whether they back Mourinho or not, has to acknowledge that there's clearly an issue if it's divided the fan base in two to such a degree

Joses appointment may not of been met with a fanfare of approval but I think out in the big bad world most Spurs fans are more than happy to give him a chance.

In my experience its only on here that a handful of Poch lovers can't accept that he needed binning off.

Had a shocking day mate, bad day in the office, lost my train ticket then got drenched on the way to Liverpool Street and then the trains were facked cos of the weather!

What does a retired man get up to on days like these?

Had a day in today, always plenty to do, I am working on an autobiography at the moment, it will be like a very long project.
