Game tomorrow

Hopefully we can keep the squad fit from now on in....or at least for a few weeks with ElHamed and Bitton back training it makes the squad look very strong now. Frimpong still a couple weeks it seems after a setback which is a shame because he offers so much and obviously Johnston but aside from that we have plenty options.

Looking at the weather for the weekend btw it's to be 50mph winds and rain in Aberdeen on Sunday so that's going to be a cvnt of a game!

If we can keep El Hammed and Biton fit along with everyone else we have just now until after Ibrox then i'll be happy with that.

We're in a position just now where we can potentially go there and win and that'll be the title done

and i suspect the games across Scotland should go ahead given the worst of the weather should be over by tomorrow afternoon.

Nothing but blue skies in Aberdeen this week. A wee bit windy though.

We've got ourselves into a good place with some good form....fans right behind the team etc.

Massive week again, 2 wins will set us up very nicely. Not an easy game at all for rangers tomorrow night either btw. Sunday a huge game for us and the pressure will be on. We seem to be able to handle that well though.

A good draw in the cup too which we should manage no problem.

Yeah 2 wins this week is ideal, Rangers dropping points tomorrow would be perfect.

If Killie are as up for it as they were against us that night then it'll be a tough game.

every game is massive now, was quite enjoying the away games as well as the last few home games have been awful

Hamilton
Aberdeen
Rangers
Ross County

we seem to have stepped it up after the winter break though the good football has returned in spells and we're scoring goals again

add that to the likes of ElYo Christie ElHamed coming back Ntcham Forrest Griffiths hitting form and Edouard and McGregor being the 2 favourites for the Balon D'or we're in a good place

would've loved a new centre half in January mind you

El Hammed makes a massive difference defensively for me.

So does Biton imo.

Aye ElHamed would be the first choice option the right hand side of the 3. I reckon Jozo will be kept right for Ibrox though to deal with Morelos.

Even if Forrest was to get injured at any point I'd fancy Frimpong taking his place in the 352.

Like Ghod says, with everyone fit and players like Griff stepping up his form it's keeping everyone at it. Will be interesting to see what team he goes with for the next 2 games.

Thought El You looked class on Sunday and to be fair to him Boli played well too albeit against rotten opposition.

Boli is better than Taylor, he really is.

Not a ringing endorsement though.

I'd like to see this against Copenhagen and Rangers

Forster

El Hammed
Biton
Julien

Frimpong
Brown
McGregor
Ntcham
Elyounoussi

Griffiths
Edouard

Forrest will likely play against Copenhagen to be fair as Frimpong won't be fit but Frimpong against Rangers is a must, can't have another Forrest dissapearing act which is inevitable.

the problem with ElYo playing on the left of a 5 is he likes to drift into the middle of the park a lot and you cant do that playing wing back

maybe get away with it for home games

I think he'd prosper in the Edouard role of a 2 up front just dropping in to the no.10 role and linking up with the 9

Ntchams form has picked up but you always feel he's got one of those games in him where he just doesnt fancy it

Christies form however before xmas had been pretty poor

at the moment you can't drop Ntcham and playing the 3-5-2 with McGregor in the no.8 role is getting the best out of him and he's arguably our best player (he is imo)

No way can we change the midfield 3 until they all have a couple of stinkers in a row.

Christie had a fantastic start to the season but he was poor in December and ultimately i prefer Ntcham so that's final!

suppose McGregor/Brown could cover for him when he moves in field

Btw, anyone notice Bauer picking up Scott Brown's faint forward pass thingy?

We were at his side on Saturday first half and the amount of times he done it was flooking infuriating.

Aye, ElHamed won't be seen for another couple of weeks I don't think.....maybe St Johnstone cup game is a good target for him, make sure he's fit and raring to go.

would be massive for the run in to keep our squad fit, its been a big disruption for us.

Ely is a welcome problem, where does he fit in when you play a 3-5-2?

comment by NNH (U10730)

I'd say Ely would sit the left hand side as he works hard but he does drift in a lot which has been said so you'd need to ensure your man at left centre half and one of the midfielders can cover.

I reckon a 3-5-2 for Weds and he will revert to 4-5-1 for Sunday

I think boli is a 3-5-2 lefty tbh.

thought the same about izzy as well.

cant see shved being on the bench again.

Boli defo suits the 3-5-2 as well.

He also works better when Elyounoussi plays as he gives him an option inside and out.

I'm not convinced on Taylor at all and his lack of pace is really really worrying for Europe.

I like that taylor looks to overlap, but he needs to start having a bit of belief that he can get past the fullback

I'm sorry I'm not having Boli at all

he had a shot at it and wasn't good enough IMO Taylor deserves 20 games like he did

nobody strikes panic into me as much as Boli does when he has the ball near his own box

apology accepted

he's pure odd isn't he, I like his energy, I don't like his concentration levels.
