First half to Rovers, but after the goal we were second best. Okenabirhie is a very useful footballer, but Cole struggled to control the ball and will have to improve a lot if he is going to earn a place.

The way the ball is played around in dangerous situations at the back cost us a goal and it could have been worse.

Ramsey looked sharp when he came on and on that showing ought to have started.

This was not top-6 quality and a lot more cohesion needs to be developed pretty quickly if we are not to lose touch with those at the top.

The ref seemed to see fouls invisible to everyone else in the ground.

Doncaster is almost a home game for me, so just got in.

Two thoughts:
1. Weather was terrible
2. Hill CANNOT be in charge for the summer rebuild.

Congratulations to Crazy as it seems he got it totally right - and bonus points!
I thought at 2-0 we could run up a score like at Southend, but we took the foot off the gas and then actual stupidity gave them a goal and they took charge and it became "squeaky bum" time.
Most people seem to put most of the blame for the goal on Dieng. I agree that his throw out was ill conceived, but to me the main cause was Sheaf's incredibly stupid slow back pass with a Bolton playwright behind him. At least Dieng stopped the initial attempt on goal, but unfortunately turnrd it straight to a Bolton player who scored. From the video point of view it is often difficult to judge actual distances, and his turning the ball to his left to take the ball away from the approaching Bolton player probably seemed the best option, but kicking out for a corner was obviously better. If he had picked-up, is it just a free kick from that spot, or is it a penalty?
As far as individual players are concerned, James was somewhat shaky to start with, but was settling down and then had that awful looking injury. Sheaf had a good first half and then was mediocre. When you see an assist like that for the second goal, you see why we still need Copps. Ennis was behind him and Copps glanced over his shoulder and turned and sent that great cross for Ennis to head in - and congrats to Ennis for anticipating that possibility and making the run.
Okenabirhie could become our new Marquis - two very "old fashioned centre forward goals". He should have done better with the headed chance before he scored, but I like him.
Totally different, I've yet to see much about what I like of Cole.
At the moment I think "What would we do without Whiteman and Sadlier?"
Let's get Sadlier's contract nailed down ASAP!

Golden is that reality kicking in? I think that you have to accept that we are not good enough to stay up. The question is, is Hill good enough? I'm not sure that he is.

Good analysis Micky. The Dieng throw was lengthy and it was good play from the Bolton lad to anticipate it. What worries me about Sheaf, who had been anchoring the midfield well, was that having made the error he lost his head. Bad pass after bad pass. I also see nothing in Cole to suggest he is even worth a place on the bench. Watters has looked better on the couple of occasions he's got onto the pitch.

Well what a lucky one I was not getting back in time to join in last night.
The Hill Philosophy doesn't bode well for L2 unless you are aiming for none league status I fear for next season already..

There’s a little time to go yet , still plenty more stories for K.H to tell before the impossible happens.

Keith can say what the hell he wants in interviews - if asked - not many football managers come out with anything worth saying anyway.

However, I'm now pretty concerned about the constant defensive errors - it's at a stage where I'm starting to look further away from the individual and more to the collective set up. That's a coaching issue.

Getting heated at the meeting about closing the upper tiers I believe.

Not a financial issue. Designed to improve atmosphere.

One suggestion to move people with less than 5 years on their season tickets from the middle of the lower tiers to the corners to accommodate those moving from the upper tiers. How to pizz everyone off in that case.

Faal, is not ready to play says Keith Hill. I have to say that it's not really a surprise. The problem is that a valuable slot in the 23 player squad has been taken up with a player who may not be ready until next season.

A player for the future is of no use for the here and now. I'm not saying that Faal won't be an asset in years to come but it's a gamble as we slip down the leagues. He has an 18 contract so here's hoping that he will be ready sooner rather than later.

Hill says he is not giving up the ghost of staying up. Reality check, please!

I don't know how long his contract is but I wouldn't be extending it. He's managed to bring in a lot of players and some of them will be good enough for division two and others are good enough for division one, but I don't see any hope of staying in division one. He did have time to pull results around so that can't be an excuse.

The clock is ticking and the team doesn't look good enough to make the difference. We all know who's fault that is. Hill told us the team would be better with the new players he has brought in. I think some might disagree with him. He could have kept some of the better players that he let go but he has brought players in that need time to get up to speed and we simply don't have that time.

Swie, you don’t sound to happy 😉 you haven’t been paying attention to K.H. And all his stories. If you had, you would know about the rebuilding work, there’s no quick fix if K.H. left tomorrow things would just be the same, time is what’s needed the longer the stories the fatter K.H.s wallet becomes,
Will Darcy & Politic be there when the jigsaws complete or Mohamed Faal for that matter.
I keep telling you positivity is what’s needed,

All well and good listening to Hill, or even not. I fear for next season too, the same embargo will be in place, so no big signings, more short term loan players and possibly more stands closed.
The end of next season is when the real rebuilding will take place hopefully with a more in-tune manager, one with passion and hungry for some success, no one jumps to mind at this moment but we have plenty of time to find the one.
