I mean, it’s marginally less drivel than the Traynor statement....
What exactly is it Rangers are scared of here?
Great idea..ban the media and get supporter led media in instead. Only problem is that it was supporter lead media that started the whole car nonsense in the first place.
They weren't racially abusing him because of the colour of his skin, they were racially abusing him because he plays for their rivals.
Did they release such a statement when big Moussa or Scott Sinclair were racially abused?
Did they release a statement when a supporter ran on to try hook Scott Brown?
Some buzz.

Ah, good racism
I especially enjoyed the part where they thought fans were frustrated waiting on them to comment
Sounds like they have an ego akin to the GB
To be fair, they own part of the debt.

Whilst the ego analogy could be true, it is fair to say they were getting heat on social media to comment, especially as the club weren't saying anything.
For me - paragraph 3 is the key one and that does need to be highlighted.
The rest is a bit meh....
They clearly want to ban all media from Rangers
Did they release such a statement when big Moussa or Scott Sinclair were racially abused?
----------------------------
Why would they?
It's not like there was and inference that the abuse was made-up?
I don't think there were any shouts for proof to be provided?
And yes, in those instances it was clear that it happened.
If the statement is true that it is in the match delegates report then it is also clear that it happened to Morelos.
The difference being it was denied left right and centre by those in the media...
oh ffs
just when you thought it couldn't get more ridiculous, the mud munchers arrive.
The problem with this statement, and with much of the discussion on this incident and the Morelos racism as a whole, is the complete lack of nuance. Everything is at its extreme.
For these chaps they believe the whole media and Scottish football (or at least Celtic fans) are frothing racists who can't wait to racially abuse Morelos or turn a blind eye to it so as to empower the racists. On the other side it's complete and utter made up nonsense, designed by Rangers to deflect from whatever it is they're deflecting from and that Morelos is a wee kant who 'brings it on himself'.
The truth of the situation is likely somewhere in the middle of these two polarised opinions.
It's also worth saying, and this is being lost in the histrionics, that nobody has been found guilty yet. Always worth keeping that in mind.
rangers going to war with a 12 year old
a stupid, ignorant, 12 year old though.
The truth of the situation is likely somewhere in the middle of these two polarised opinions.
----------------------------
Yes, of course.
What i would say though is that we wouldn't have got anywhere near these statements from RFC and Club1872 if there had been a bit more nuance in the reporting.
One of the issues i have with these statements is they are too 'reactionary'
Having said that - I can't think of any journos who will fight 'our' corner in terms of balance but i can think of plenty who will boot it in any chance they get...

Would it not be better to keep any faux rage until the charge has been proven?
Racism in itself is ridiculous, but more so in a football ground.
Racially abusing the oppositions players while you have black players on the park, playing for you.
Just another example of why racism is a mugs game.
Was it public knowledge it was in the match delegates report?
If not, why not - might have helped defuse what they are complaining about now?
How did it get in that report - reported by someone or heard by the delegate?
Was this the first match of the many that Rangers are reporting racism to have it in the delegate report?
If not, what have the SFA / PS been doing?
etc.
deflectors on max, cap'n.
I've seen a couple of stupid articles about morelos, but no racists ones.
people write more about him than Edouard, because he's a wee phanny that gives them more to write about and in this country, controversy sells newspapers.

Having said that - I also think i'd make a better football manager than some
