Aye some good signs though, if we can get our defensive game organised.

Great game. Cant feel too down. Deserved a point, more if we cut out individual mistakes.
Saw a lot that was good tonight, but not the finished article by a way yet.

I'd bring Roos back, Hamer could have done much better with two of their goals.

Hamer is poor, Roos is useless.

So many good things about that performance. There is definite progress in the movement and quality of passing. Rooney, Bird and Holmes are a hell of a midfield three. Need a new keeper. Try to keep Clarke or get a new left centre back. Sell Bogle, move Wisdom to right back with Ebosele as the apprentice.

Shouldnt be relying on Lowe to defend crosses in the box, thats the CBs job. Unless we have Fozzy at LB whos far stronger in the air.

We missed Fozzy. Centre backs should defend crosses but we should be stopping crosses coming in better than that. We gave away a few avoidable corners too by being a bit sloppy which invited pressure. Away from set pieces we were comfortably the better team, much better on the ball and in quality of passing.

We looked like the home team tonight.

Genuine question:

No doubt Rooney is a class act, and has amazing vision and skill to pick out a pass - will he be still playing next season, has he got another full season in him at Derby?
