Precautionary. Makes perfect sense.

Ole has come out and said so
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All he has said is that there is a worry that the government might be over cautious.

The idea that he could possibly have the virus are 100% false. He’ll have been tested and cleared within the day of landing
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And if that was the case they would have taken him to Spain

But there is a worry he’ll be held in quarantine so the club didn’t think it was right to take him - which is what I said

I wonder if they’ll not take him to Belgium for the same reason

Your question was is ighalo a corona risk... he’s not.

Actually he will be fine for Brugge as his observation period finishes a few days before

He’s still in his observation period so while I don’t think anything will be found it’s still something that the club are being careful with

I think the club are just playing things by the book.

Imagine if United did allow him to go and he was infected. The disasters of the last 7 years would be nothing compared to being at fault for spreading the virus in the UK and Europe!

I have said it before though. I do think suspending football (and declaring this season's results null and void) is the right thing to do just in case. We can't be too careful.

May be a coincidence but Wuhan and Manchester are twin cities ...

SAF did say he wouldn't see Madrid a virus. Perhaps it was sold elsewhere...

United are missing a trick here. They should put him in a training group with Pereira, Lingard and Jones.

For so long, players we don’t sign have been getting lost in Carrington. It was just a matter of time before we started banning those we do sign from entering. Common sense.

Not for UWW and such.... Having a few years in the wilderness (only winning fa, league and europa) is far more depressing and life affecting than the potential death of 100s of millions!

100s of millions? bit of an exageration.

Also understandable. they are emotionally invested in their football club, not so much random people they have never met.

Was tongue in cheek.

Though the W.H.O do think a serious contagion could easily eclipse the spanish flu (100 million) deaths after WW1, due to our travel patterns and higher population.

Both the dormant and active corona virus can be tested for and detected within a day. Don’t believe the papers.

Last I heard it took a little while for the results to come back.

Heard they'd found a quicker test in Vietnam, I think, but it still didn't come back 100% accurate.
