Its pathetic that we only have Bamford as a striker. He and the rest of the attackers are under performing yet they all get to play every week, and they know it.

Yep Shaun and how many threads have their been about bamford? This one is about Casilla... and you main defence for him appears to be that we have other underperforming players.
After the Brentford game, Kiko was all smiles, joking with Rea. Not the sign of a man who was worried about his performance. He knows he will be playing every week regardless of how many mistakes he makes. Bielsa's loyalty to players is his biggest weakness. He's not doing the team any favours. Brizzie, and Nahki Wells in particular, will do everything to get under his - and our - skins.
Feel sorry for Meslier and felt sorry for articulate BPF who was getting established, and I agree made mistakes but was going to learn from them, MB should feel ashamed of himselff not giving those guys a chance, whereas that Kiko clown got his, and is blowing hot and cold, and enjoying the ride with his despicable salary, whether he's good or bad he knows he'll be picked and Leeds have to pay the price and might miss promotion again, makes my blood boil.
I wonder if the fact that Kiko is one of our highest earners may be the reason he is playing? Does the club feel he must play because he is earning so much? It’s a strange situation if that is the reason. Any player who is costing the team points must be dropped - no matter how much he earns, especially when we have a sub who can take his place.
To be honest, we don't know how good Meslier is, but on the big game evidence, he did just fine for me.
Maybe Bielsa doesn't see it, same way as he didn't see it for Edmonson, maybe he's getting pressure from the board to play Kiko, but I feel he's his own man in that respect, I think the reason Poveda and Augustin aren't walking straight into squad or starting is because they're just not good enough, keeper is less likely to be changed, but if there is another error against City then it must surely be time for a change.
While listening to 5 live the other night, I heard a strange conversation between several pundits, a couple of which stated that they had both independently heard that Kiko is playing amongst other things, due to commercial obligations. There was no expansion on this front from either but it did seem a bit odd.
JKA based on pedigree (chum) is good enough - maybe not fit enough right now, or used to how our team plays - but good enough he should be.
Poveda - only time will tell.
Jonty, why did we get the services of Poveda and Augustin if they are not good enough ?

Perhaps a 3rd party is paying some of his salary with a stipulation that he plays, unless banned or injured?!?!??
RB Kev is good enough, played for one of Germany's better teams and did well!..
That's like saying RB Leipzig ain't good enough for English football, even though they're second in the table!..
1st div not Championship!..

He'd have done that in the summer surely ….. ?
Think you're clutching ………
What, by selling our best players and signing so many loanees they couldn’t all fit in match day squad?
Kinnear himself said this windows business exorcised the ghost of dan james, why do you doubt what he said?
Brizzie were impressive against Derby in the week. And how did they score their goals? From dead ball situations. Add nasty little Nahki Wells to their frontline, who knows how to hand-le a big game, one of the best away teams in the league, a referee who did us no favours in his last outing, and you have all the ingredients for another setback. Expect Casilla to come under more scrutiny after tomorrow, but as Derby showed, Bristol can be attacked successfully, if you have a decent finisher.
