Stadium Naming Rights V Takeover

I thought that Levy has potential deals on the naming rights, just he's holding out, wants to pick the most appropriate deal, not just the most financially beneficial one, but ethics and club wise, a bid that makes sense?

The Alphabet Arena sounds pretty Spursy

Why bother with naming rights it’s a bit tacky really.

Just call it New White Hart Lane and be done with it.

Something like that traditional with the club

I think you might be mistaking our chairman for someone else. The guy would sell his granny if the price was right..... Its all about the last penny with him. I dont think its got anything to do with it being appropriate. I think Genius is probably on the right track. Its either part of a bigger deal or hes just being a greedy facker as per normal

Its been almost 10 months, not sure what naming rights would bring in £, but thats a 10 months loss waiting for a better deal. And the better deal will only make sense if it would compensate for waiting for that better deal. So the longer you wait, the higher that better deal must be.

No deal is better than a bad deal !

These are long term commitments, side with the wrong party and it can impact on other relationships. IN all of this the possible NFL deal is key...this will guide our decisions. Stadium naming rights alongside an NFL franchise is where the real gravy will be

Still hoping Nike Hart Lane is the one they decide upon.

I think Levy has been happy keeping it as The Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Gets the brand out there particularly with the NFL.

could get tricky if we miss the CL this year ?

The NFL dont give a shlt about the Tottenham Hotspur brand. They want a big flashy stadium that suits their needs and a store to flog their gear. Doesn't matter to them what state Spurs are in

The fans become aware of the brand is what I meant.

Hmm Maybe. As much as the Prem league & its teams profile has grown over here its still low profile... Its NBC not the NFL that's important to Prem league teams as its them that pay the big bucks for overseas TV rights for the league as a whole

I imagine they're waiting for Spurs to pick up a bit and then get a better price aren't they?

What happened to LPools new stand, i thought they were seeking a sponsor for that.

Overall its a weaker market than it was. Our potential NFL link up is the USP that could see us get a really strong deal in the future. However, you'd imagine we'd only get a share of that with whatever NFL uses our football stadium.

Think FSG are waiting until the next expansion is finished in 2022 and then put it out for tender.

Tbh I'd rather we didn't name it but that's business I guess.
