It's been a season of missed opportunities in the Premier League this season, with this the latest one.

VAR is a fackin joke. Whatever happened to the rule about players influencing play? Now we have a line drawn across the pitch and if anything encroaches the line even if it is yards away from the action, it's goal disallowed.
Well I'm sorry but after 60 years of supporting the club I love I'm done. If I wanted to watch video games I'd play on my computer. For me the fun has gone and I will waste no more of my time watching sport defeated by technology. Adios amigos.

I stopped watching other footy quite some time ago outside of big tourny games. Will continue to watch Wolves but it is becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy it in the moment now.

Wherever there is a multi billion pound gambling industry, there will be bribery and greedy people willing to take those bribes.

Italian football, South American football, American football, International cricket, top level snooker - all have numerous examples of this.

The way that VAR is used (imaginary lines, no ball being released in the same frame, huge time delays) points to the system being wide open to abuse.

The whole world is corrupt.

Another game completely ruined by var. Good game, great atmosphere then the life taken out of the game by this stupid facility that is slowly but surely taking so much of the pleasure out of going to watch football matches. Dull atmosphere after the break as the thought that celebrating a goal is now is pointless until the technicians have had their moment in the sun. Only a matter of time before we have a 50,000 capacity stadium at Stockley Park so we can get a birds eye view of where the important parts of the game is played nowadays

Is there talk of Wolves moving again?

Coady caught on camera asking the ref who was offside.

The ref just points to his headphones

Coady looks at the tv camera and says ‘he’s the ref and not even he f***ing knows what’s going on’

Just about sums var up

Difficult to know what to say after watching that. Feel cheated again, I know people love to spin the conspiracy theories but it's becoming really difficult to dismiss the thought that if that was players in liverpool shirts it wouldn't have even been reviewed. If Man City get take their case to the court of arbitration for support I'm bloody sure we have a case.

We defended well, only chance Vardy had was from a crazy Jimenez throw in. Raul and Jota were wasteful, we had enough chances to take the points but although stats say we had three shots on target I'm struggling to recall more that one. I'm sure the goals will return but we've got to start being more clinical.

Leicester had a lot of the ball as Brendan’s teams do but we looked more likely to score. For once Jiménez wasn’t sharp in front of goal and missed three good opportunities with headers. Neves excellent, Jonny very good. Traore made a difference when he came on. Podence didn’t but will get better in time.

posted on 15/2/20

Yeah didn't think much of Podence's contribution, Jota kept running in to players and losing the ball whilst Neto was impressive. Boly motm for me, though Coady and Patricio were both faultless.

Amazes me that after all he's done this season that Raul is criticised tonight while Jota is not mentioned

Meanwhile in an attacking goalscoring sense Jota does not even deserve a place

Also it's never poor to get a draw against the team third in the premier league

Take a look at my two posts above. Wouldn't say Jota was poor he's still a dangerous player but he just isn't choosing the right options. He seems to run at defenders in the hope that the ball will bounce for him, defenders at this level won't fall for that.

It was worth commenting on Raúl because it was so unusual to see him miss three good chances in a game. Things aren’t happening for Jota right now but we know he has the potential to be a top player

I've been saying that all season, we cannot rely on Jimmy all the time.
Jota's return of three prem goals is pathetic, I think his days are numbered.

You have been saying that for 1and a half seasons.
Can't wait forever.

No I haven’t. I wasn’t saying that in the second half of last season when he was brilliant and it’s my opinion that he can become a top player, just as it was my opinion last year that we should stick with Traore when most were saying get rid

posted on 15/2/20

Nuno saying that Traore and Moutinho both picked up knocks in the game at Old Trafford and hadn’t trained fully in the last week so were left on the bench last night

I hold my hands up about Adama, but I wasn't the only one.
Jota has been abysmal this season, the reverse of Adama, so he has gone backwards.
I will always support all our players, but we cannot be sentimental.

posted on 15/2/20

Bit harsh to say Jota has been abysmal. Doesn't have a great statistical return but he hasn't been awful. His decision making has just been a bit off at times.

Making out as if he should be shipped out is a ridiculous reactionary response. He is still only 23 and has his best years ahead of him.
