Europe is a fun bonus, just play with a bit of freedom, the fans will not go tonto should we lose in Europe, its all about the league.

After the way we have been playing; I'll be well annoyed if we don't put in a good performance in Europe

We should be able to have a right go at Copenhagen. What do you think I'm going over there for?

Former Celtic striker Scott McDonald thinks it would "be crazy" to suggest Neil Lennon's side will let a commanding league lead slip.

Steven Gerrard's Rangers have dropped eight points in five games.

And, although they have a game in hand, Celtic are now 10 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

"I wouldn't say it is done and dusted," McDonald told BBC Scotland. "But, at the moment, you can't see Celtic dropping many points."

Really looking forward to it mate. Arrive quite early so I’ll take a couple of hours having a wander around and something sensible to eat before the mayhem begins.

Former Ibrox midfielder Alex Rae reckons there is way back for his old team and takes heart from the final-day drama in 2005 when McDonald's double for Motherwell scuppered Celtic.

"You would have to say Celtic are big favourites but it's not over," Rae, 50, told BBC Scotland.

"If you go back to the 2004-05 season, we were five points behind with four games to go and we did it.

All Wednesday done for me was make Celtic favourites.

Considering how rangers beat us in the last old firm game then its very much up for grabs.

Of course it is over.

Even if Rangers win the last two OF games of the season and their game in hand Celtic will still win the league.

We will drop more points against the rest than Celtic will.

To be fair the hooker will probably taste better than the pickled herring and dill open sandwich you will be offered at dinner.

I'd say rangers cannot afford any more slip ups or that should be that but to suggest it's over is wishful thinking really ...
Rangers need to find form , a few players seem off it
I've not seen Hagi but is he worth dropping Davis for ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think if Bayo gets his usual two and a half minutes on the park he could score at least eight.

I agree with timmy here, it’s not over. Europe and the OF’s will be key. And we can both still drop points, particularly if the Euro run goes in our favour. I suppose having a manager and squad who’ve won silverware should be in our favour. Less chance of having that rough patch bit like Rangers have had of late. Celtic’s squad depth is beginning to tell, and I think that will be the difference this season. Rangers are good but lose a few key players and they’re ordinary. We can still change it up when it’s required.
No reason to push out the boat in Europe but lets give the SC a good go and see if we can’t bring home more silverware.

posted on 14/2/20

We don’t have enough depth of quality in the squad.

We also don’t have a champions mentality.

Celtic have both these things and will comfortably be champions again this season.

Ive said it all season..

There was NEVER a title race.. There may be after we hit 11 or 12, but with finances the way they are, i just cant see it.

posted on 14/2/20

Don't give up hope. Rangers have pushed Us all season and i don't expect that to change now. That gap is not insurmountable. We are more than capable of throwing it away ourselves. An injury to Eddy and we're up a creek with no paddle. The OF's will be important.

I am not giving up hope.

I am being realistic.

Rangers aren’t good enough to win the league.

Of course there is a title race.

If rangers had maintained their form they would be in pole position.

With the finances we have we should be further ahead but we never spend it.

I hope the board go out and get el yanousi he is a talent.

Well anyone who says Gers haven't managed a challenge this season is mental. In Dec I thought the title was slipping away. 6 weeks is a long time in football. How much further can we go in Europa league?

"How much further can we go in Europa League"

Should get the better of Copenhagen over the two legs IMO. After that luck of the draw.....if we're in the draw wouldn't think we can progress much further.

As for the league No it ain't over. It's given us breathing space and if the gap is still 7/10 points by the time the next OF game rolls round it means we play the game with less pressure and don't have to win the game. A draw is as good as a win.

No seeding in the last 16 draw if we make it. All strong teams left if it goes to seed.

posted on 14/2/20

Titles not over but were in a far superior position than i thought we would be during the break and it would take a monumental feck up to lose it from this position.
Europe ? make it past Copenhagen and hope for a good draw QF would be good ,SF or better would be awesome
