If we fail to get top 4 or win the FA cup/CL from this position then Jose failed this season
Not especially excited about Spurs but not overly downbeat either. We're one of a handful of bang overage sides scrabbling for 4th place... pretty underwhelming as the quality of football we're playing is pretty low quality. An FA Cup or CL run is more likely to excite me as I'll always fancy Jose to figure out a way in a one off game... Should win at the weekend but not expecting any fireworks.... I'll take a 1-0 & hope United can get a result on Monday
Davies returning is a big boost imo.
He never lets you down and whilst he didn't excel in Pochettino's side, I think he's perfect for what José wants.
He also then frees Tanganga to either form a CB partnership with Alderweireld or play at RB (although I think Aurier has been decent under José and will further improve).
José spoke a lot about the players lacking confidence when he first joined, so I hope the recent wins will boost this.
Since our narrow loss to Liverpool, we're unbeaten in 6, which includes 2 clean sheets.
This is definitely something to build on and top 4 is in our hands.

No, because he has had to sort out the mess he inherited. He needs at least two full seasons to bring the glory days back to WHL, he may do it quicker. But he is going in the right direction, so I am a patient man.

We were 12 point behind when he came in, and we've had some very difficult games in that time (Chelsea, Wolves away, Saints away and City), and we've still closed the gap.
Beat Norwich and we find ourselves in the quarter finals. Get a kind draw and we're off to Wembley and in touching distance of a trophy
Can't expect anyone to come in and win us the CL - that's just insane. We're so far behind the elite clubs. A good showing, maybe get to the last 8 and that'd be deemed as a good run - plus more money for the club and our rebuild in the summer.

I dont 100% agree but lets call it for was it is.... Levy has hired Jose on massive money to get top 4, nothing else, not outperform Poch over some comparable time period. This feels like some kind of metric applied to this whole situation by "Poch Fanboys"

I don`t think you can say he hired Jose to get top four this season, he was nearly a dozen points of that target when he was hired, so very unlikely that was his brief. I think he was firstly hired to steady the ship, then to win trophies over the next two or three seasons.
