This is Derby though, we have lost the ability to even surprise ourselves.

Thought the goals we conceded against Swansea were sloppy but the Bristol goals were more to with how they played and not how we defended. Not much you can do if the cross is in the right place. You have to give credit to the other team sometime or you end up like Colin.

Other news, Man City banned from the Champions League for two seasons. That will sheikh things up.

No, genuinely, we are garbage. You'll have too much for us. Your home form is great, we can't cope. We have a team full has-beens and loanees. We have two P. E teacher managing us, and it COULD be fatal.

5 - 1 Rams

Spart, that's so wrong! At least 2 of their goals were as a direct result of Wisdom following the cross rather than staying with his player. It was rank defending that I wouldn't tolerate on a Sunday morning.
Had he stayed put, he would/should have prevented both of them easily.
The cross for the first especially was over hit. The attacker did really well to push it back in but Wells was unmarked because Wisdom chased the cross when it wasnt his job.

I agree with Peeder and Cocu here. Poor defending. Wisdom has only had a few games at centre half so don’t want to be too critical - he has done well overall, passing very good. For the first half of last season Tomori was quite poor at defending crosses but he learned to concentrate better and although Wisdom is older he has little experience in this position. Much as I like Bogle I keep thinking we would be more solid with Wisdom at right back when te Wierik arrives.

Thus I know you are wrong Peeder because Vidal agrees with you.

Opposition managers seem to think Bogle is a weak link in defence. Watch tomorrow at Huddersfield's kick off. They will load Bogle's side with attackers, then play a long ball down that side. Virtually every team this season has tried it.

Just watched it again I can conclude that both Peeder and Vidal are idiots. First goal, the volleyed cross was a great piece of skill like Forsyth's cross against Stoke. Wrong footed the entire Derby defence who were running back in to position to defend the cross they were expecting after the ball had been controlled. If you have players who could have defended that on Sunday morning sign them up although I know the real answer,

Second goal was a good in swinging corner to the near post at the right height for the glancing header. It was defended but the ball flew anywhere and unfortunately to a Brizzle head.

Rules for Corners,
In swingers near post
Out swingers centre of goal.
Dipping corner to back post and beyond.
The defending of the short corner for the third goal was abysmal I must admit.

Has Dennis arrived yet ? Are we getting a game today ?

The forecast here is for the weather to suddenly turn bad at 10 this morning. Same forecast for Derby. I wish I could believe it. Last Sunday we had about an hour of tempest and the rest of the was just a bit windy. The Dennis forecast is similar but at present there is hardly a breath of wind.

Do I go on the train. Last two times I travelled on the train in windy conditions it took me 5 hours to get back home from Disley and the other time I they cancelled all trains across the Pennines so had to turn back at Sheffield.

Do I go by train or wait and see what happens and go by car?

I'm not travelling anywhere this weekend.

Thank god I dont have to rely on the "travel advice according to Spart"

Who knows, Spart ?
Lots of flights cancelled today already, so there seems to be a bit of (over) reaction to Dennis.

It's arrived here, a bit windy and spotting with rain. That might be sufficient to cancel trains.

I think Bogle's beat position, with his quick feet, pace and close control is wide midfield. Our best defence would be Wisdom, Clarke, Davies, Lowe of Forsyth.
Best Midfield from Rooney, Knight, Bogle. Bird
Best attack from Lawrence, Marriott, Waghorn, Martin, Whitaker.

Well you wouldn't be playing footy here - everything going sideways at 80 mph!

Spart ... just concentrate on watching Wisdom for the 1st goal.
He did not need to follow the cross. There was another player to do that.
The volleyed cross back in was superb BUT Wells had an easy task because Wisdom left him alone.
Its not rocket science. Stick with your man.

Sorry Spart I don't agree with you, Wisdom left his man on his own to head an easy goal for him. Both full backs let their man cross the ball. I've gone off Bogle, I think he believes his own publicity, Rooney needs to sort him out. Forsyth did nothing to get dropped, he plays some good balls on the ground for martin and defends better than Lowe.

Not very nice weather 5 miles from Derby. Wonder if the match goes ahead.

Do any of you feel sorry for Man City?.......Thought not. Will it be us next, hope not.
