They’ll appeal and be fine to play next season competition then probably get away with just a fine
Subject to appeal. Plus can't they suspend some of it?
I'm confused by it to be honest
Only was Jose was gonna get it.
AMIRITE.
Somehow you know City will appeal and they will win. Probably UEFA will add few millions to their fine. Chicken feed.
Just so Spursy
They have flouted the rules for so long, that no way will this be overturned. Wouldn't be surprised to see the sentence lengthened if the appeal it.
They are using their financial clout to basically cheat their way to the top.
They will get it over turned, guaranteed, money talks in this corrupt world of football
Obviously there will be an appeal, but as Liverpool will be Champions, and therefore have the only distinct right to a CL place, that clearly does not apply to 2/3/4th, so it could be the FA will claim they are still entitled to 4 places, and therefore 5th has as much right as 2/3/4th.
I guess it could get complicated if City win this years CL, but a ban is a ban.
If it goes to 5th, I for one raise my CL optimism for next year by about 40% to 50%
On a side note, it is hilarious how much Sky are wetting themselves over this story, and will no doubt continue to talk about it 24/7 for the next few days. So if anyone waiting for news on any other club, then forget it.
Lastly, what is the difference between City and Chelsea's obscene spending over the last 5/10 years ? I assume the breaches are different, but does beg the question.

EPL is entitled to 4 places in the CL, it’s up to the FA on how them places are rewarded.
