Completely agree. It’s a stain on our club and no matter what happens now it can never be removed. All we can and should do is get the unpalatable truth out there and deal with it in the public eye. It is wholly indefensible and therefore any “defence” put up by us should be shouted straight down. By us.
Knowing next to fwck all about such cases; payments for child abuse tend to be disgustingly low in the tens of thousands at the very most. Only “winners” here will be lawyers.

It’s to be expected as club tribalism trumps any sense of compassion.
The moronic element are “delighted” this is finally being dealt with whilst happily proclaiming that it still goes on at the club and it’s continually being hidden. They are happy to scream and hurl abuse at supporters who in most cases weren’t even alive during those times or at an age where they would have had no idea and were never in any position to do anything in any event.
