1 shot on target - yet we scored 2 goals - the guy’s a miracle maker

I suppose the manager’s thinking is that if we don’t concede or at least are difficult to score against, then we have a chance of actually getting a result if we can nick one or two at the other end

It’s not always pretty or the most entertaining of football, but this is the Championship, not the Premier League

The key with this league is getting results and getting yourself out of it and into the money bank know as the Premiership - I suppose once you’re there, and you’re raking in millions a year, you can then concentrate of the style of football you’d like to play

I don’t recall Leicester setting the world on fire with their footballing quality in their first back in the PL - avoided relegation by playing to your strengths I remember - it certainly wasn’t all pretty

It’s easy to be critical from up on high Blackstarr, the point remains that one way or another, you have to fight your way out of this League, especially when there aren’t 2 stand out teams - sometimes you just have to get results, even if it’s ugly I’m afraid

We got promoted from the championship with 102 points and creating a shed load of chances in most games. In the PL, while we primarily counter attacked, we created chances and were exciting going forward.

Forest are like Burnley - it’s just horrible football. I’m fine with counter attacking football if you actually create a few chances rather than 2 per game. You would be a poor addition to the PL in my view

Along probably with about 8 or 9 other teams that current preside in the PL

I also think you’re missing the point, when you got promoted a few years back, you were a stand out team - as mentioned previously, there aren’t any stand out teams in the League this year, there are around 12 teams that could all still go up? It’s a dog eat dog League - it’s no ones fault, it’s just the way the League is this year - and at times teams have to scrap and play ugly in order to get a result

So your hypothetical analysis of what we MIGHT be like in the Premier League IF we managed to get promoted is somewhat unfounded and premature - we’ll just have to see what happens IF it happens
