Our better football comes from when we go 4 at the back. They aren't that much of a dangerous side lets be fair.

I'd stick with last night's formation tbh... Aways in Europe are tricky enough... And we're not that good to take anyone lightly

and we are very inconsistent.... We need to play to our strengths and, right now, that seems to involve a 3 man backline.

Sorry I would have to disgree with that. Our results with 5 at the back are also inconsistent and we struggle to get out when playing 5 at the back. Look at last night and Liverpool game.

yet we won, and gave liverpool a good game... every formation has pros and cons.

Hang on, you play Monday and Thursday?? Why not Sunday and Thursday? In the Dutch league the FA is moving domestic games to support European games.

And why are Spurs fans moaning about Saturday Tuesday claiming as if they are the only ones who have 2 days rest instead of 3?

We had 2 weeks off but still managed to be scheduled for the Monday night slot before a Thursday Europa game. We could’ve played Saturday or Sunday ffs.

its 3 at the back and anyone thinking playing with three at the back is an automatic sign that we have set up negatively really has no understanding of the game

Based on last night's squad, and the fact we do have a busy period coming up I'd rotate a bit for Thursday,

Ighalo Greenwood

It's a bit of a risk but having Martial and James to come on late on could offer us pace up front if we're ahead and Brugge open up. It also keep the defence pretty consistent and solid as they're bound to try and put us under pressure from the start.

Amazing what a difference it makes not having Pereira stinking the place out, your midfield looked decent last night.

I like the suggestions, and would like to give Tony a day off and see Odeon start a match. My single concern is Dalot and Jones on that right side, especially in a back 4. If we do 3-2-3-2 then it may fly under the radar.
