A miracle?
We're one point off Chelsea who have a worse squad and plenty of injuries themselves.
Our two main rivals in United and Chelsea have novice managers. Would be very disappointed if Jose can't get top 4 from here.
Yep. Latest manager not backed by the chairman. He clearly stated we needed a striker and it wasn’t delivered.
No team can get top four without a striker. Absolutely ridiculous from levy.

What without both Kane and Son? With the pair, Spurs would be a shoe in.
Mind you Jose has already worked miracles to get Spurs within a point of top four without Kane.

Ah, such a handy excuse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not an excuse mate, the previous manager had Spurs sitting in 13th with Kane and Son, so Jose is up against it without the pair.
Kane is out injured for weeks every single season, this is nothing new and cannot be used as an excuse.
Why Levy repeatedly fails to sign a back up striker is a question only he can answer.
What an absolutely ludicrous situation, and yet sadly so predictable.

Whilst I do applaud the effort Jose has been able to get from the team. Chelsea have only won 4 of 14 since Jose took over. Obviously we have to pick up points, but they have made it easy.
I fear United more than Chelsea, with Pogba playing for a move and Fernandes looking great.

Have to take it game by game now, with cup competitions as well to go for. It will be exciting though from now until the end of the season.
Further it is a joke that a club our size since the summer of 2015 has had 3 strikers on their books.
1.Kane
2.Llorente
3.Janssen
Why is it Levy’s fault?
Surely the manager decides who he needs? However players do not want to be support act behind Kane, so it is very difficult whatever we do😳
You serious, Poch asked the club to be brave. Nothing.
Jose stated we need a striker, before our attacking wide man Son also gets injured. Again Nothing from our chairman. It’s really is inexcusable that we have went so long with one recognised striker. For a team that came second in the CL. Laughable really.

It’s just pure frustration Sandy. It is easy for Jose to say that, but give him a season and he to will be as frustrated as some fans.
We have been so close and yet the club has failed to make the final push in terms of the squad.
Yet here we are a new stadium, a new manager, another Jan window and our chairman has left us short again and with a predicament a club of this stature shouldn’t really be facing.
Now Jose, previously Poch, before him Redknapp - great managers can only do so much without proper backing. Our delectable chairman has raised the profile of the club that much we are valued at over a billion. Yet haven’t a striker in sight.

To be fair mate, it was really bad luck that both Kane and Son are injured at the same time. Every other team would have the same problem. Liverpool would be in the same boat if say Salah and Mane were both injured at the same time. They didn`t sign a striker either. Most clubs can only afford to have a couple of really top strikers. You just cannot stockpile players and expect them to just sit on the bench.

Tbf with the exception of City most other clubs don't have that good depth in the striker area.
I'm talking strikers:
Arsenal - Aubameyang & Lacazette
Chelsea - Abraham, Batshuayi & Giroud
Leicester City - Vardy & Iheanacho
Liverpool - Firmino & Origi
Manchester City - Aguero & Jesus
Manchester United - Rashford & Martial
Tottenham Hotspur - Kane
Really hoping Parrott can forge this opportunity to make a name for himself.
You can get away with having no strikers if you have a water tight defence, keep a clean sheet and nick a goal.
Unfortunately we concede too many goals and won`t be outscoring the opposition without our two most prolific goal scorers.
I would certainly blame this situation on Levy.
He has resisted buying a back-up of any sort for Kane.
Balked at Dybala.
Balked at anybody TBH.
And we've relied on Son for far too long. He's been the club's mainstay goal scorer, truth be told.
But at 27 years, you can now expect him to get injured too....I was just thinking this the other day ... how much we've replied upon Son because of Levy's intransigence.
Now we'll see what Bergwin (or whatever his name is.... you know...the guy Levy did buy last January) can do.
He's in the driving seat now... has to step up.
All it will take is for Lucas Maura to get done...and we're for the low jump!
Bergwijn and Moura are wide players Ted that tend to cut inside. We shouldn’t be solely relying on them for goals.

well, they are going to have to learn because Jose thinks Parrott ain't ready for bigtime.
Dont panic all is not lost yet.
For a start did Moura not score a hat trick in the CL semi final and we had no Kane for that.
If, as I read Son got that injury in the first minute of the game and finished the 90 minutes scoring twice there is a good chance he will be back quicker than we think, I assume they still have lightweight casts for this sort of injury.
We still have a lot of good players and nobody else is setting the world alight so I am not panicking quite yet.
I half expect to go out of the CL to be honest and never expected jose to win the FA Cup but I would not write off top 4 yet.
