Its such a shame Lamela has been so blighted by injuries. When he came on suddenly the intensity level went up as others were inspired by his lets get stuck in attitude.
Again some on here don't see it but he would be a great player for us if his body didn't keep letting him down.

I watched your game last night and being honest for the first 65-70 minutes you were absolute dogchit.
The introduction of Lamela gave you a bit of spark and the last 20 minutes you played well albeit never really looked like scoring.
They are a good side with a defined way of playing and could have won by more than one and you would have not had many complaints.
That said you are still in the tie but if I was a betting man I know where my money would be going in the second leg.

Yes, he really gets the whole London derby thing as well.
Kicking Chelsea and Arsenal up in the air always goes down great with the supporters.
Last night Jose got the balance wrong, we were at home and needed to have more of a go. It always felt a matter of time before they scored. We were way better after Lamela and Ndombele came on. Leipzig are strong favourites but at only 1-0 we have a glimmer of hope. Overall though Jose has done well this season especially considering the injuries.

not jose's biggest fan,... nowhere near in fact but you have to remember where you were in the league and where you are now when he came in.

NDombele is the man we need playing regularly. He is absolutely class. It's so anjoying he is still nowhere near fully fit, and for that you have to put some blame on the player.
With him in the team we have a few more options.

I don't get all these comments around Parrott. We have been told by Poch and Jose that he isn't ready and therefore I believe it. If he isn't ready yet then he is rightfully being left out.
