agreed, just want this put to bed.

but mainly, the correct decision made, because racism has no place in football, or life.

cant say im a fan of casilla potentially being labelled a racist on the back of 2 people saying he said something and nobody else hearing

(how its been portrayed in the media)

expect him to be banned.

Why does this case seem to have gone on longer than any other?..

It seems it's been timed as a shot at us!..

So, if he gets banned then we can rely on the lad everybody is shouting for!..

If not, than hopefully it plays in his favour and he plays better then the last however long!..

Should get a warning as there's clearly no compounding evidence against him.

The ramifications on the individual accused of racism are profound. I've read the FA deal with it on a balance of probability, which I think is awful. For me there has to be real proof and if there is, then throw the book at them.

Probability, if that's the case than they should charge every player in football!..

They've all done something or said something sometime,(or will!)in their careers!..

Maybe a good idea for the authorities to have every player on the pitch wear a microphone then if anyone wants to accuse they'll have every word, sneeze and fart on record!..

Kiko is just too unreliable, just as well if he gets banned, might be a blessing in disguise...

I know I joked about him being so bad i wanted him dropped and therefore was rooting for him to have done it, but, on a purely human level i hope he didnt do it and he is innocent in it.

Totally agree. I think everyone should be supportive of kicking racism out of football and society. Footballers are role models and need to be scrutinised, but I’m uncomfortable with this balance of probability thing. I appreciate it’s difficult in circumstances where it’s ‘he said she said’ but I don’t see how you can have rules on this sort of thing that don’t align with the laws of the land.

If he’s done wrong he deserves all he gets, but if it’s ‘we think he probably did wrong’ - that’s a lot to hang someone’s reputation out to dry on.

Milky, if he’s found guilty, should he be exited from ER sane as a fan would be banned for same offence?

Odd one, but if you had a gun to my head to make a call, I'd say yes, he should be

If a fan made a racist comment that was only heard by two people, he/she wouldn't be banned from the ground. Fans only get banned for overt racist behaviour, such as shouted abuse, monkey noises, etc. and even then it's only if they've either been caught on camera or reported to stewards. So the "offence" is hardly comparable.
If Casilla had behaved in the extreme manner that earns fans a stadium ban, then I think there'd be more witnesses.

I think you've missed the point to be fair... if a player is guilty of being a racist, should they be banned as a fan would be?

nothing to do with how many people 'heard' him
