A youthful manager isn’t the way. A whole summer clear out and reinvestment is desperately needed. Shame on we don’t have ambitious enough owners for this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesnt matter who the manager is he wont get backed. But we need a manager who plays a high energy attacking game.

Mourinho was never suited to spurs. What's the best that can happen? And that wont be good either. Just a league cup at the expense of getting in tall slow.players who can play directly etc. Who will not be the future yes ok we want a trophy now but Jose isnt getting one in a hurry at spurs, like I said the next season he could.bring in some boring but effective players for a season to fluke a league cup and then itll all go horrific and he will claim hes spurs most successful manager despite not getting back in the CL and being waaaank to watch. Complete mess, wrong appointment I'm afraid, whether right to sack the last manager or not, because of the stature of mourinho he got the players lifted for a couple of games but that soon got trampled on. Fed up of being like this to watch every week. God knows what the reason reasons for the rapid decline in the energy and performances. Most of the above probably makes no sense but I'm facking mad man.

That stadium deserves better football than what mourinho is serving up.

Ok if he delivers CL football next season then that's the safety net.

Should go all out for Brendan Rodgers.

Because of cost of having him come in and probably what itll cost to get rid he wont be sacked until we are lingering mid table to bottom half next season or the one after and players like Son, Kane and Dele are facked off by him and requesting transfers.

Not the managers issue Spurtle mate. I think it was with Pochettino as the results were even more horrendous, but it’s clearly a huge problem with the board and Levy. Constantly buying players we don’t need ( Bergwijn and Gedson ) but refuse to buy the positions we desperately need. Everyone could see we needed a target striker, yet once again they failed to deliver. #levyout #enicout
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What playing with 4 centrebacks for most of the game, refusing to bring on forwards even when 2 down, never ever was he prepared to have a go and push players forward, totally negative in his tactics, even at the end we had 3 centrebacks on the pitch
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We have no forward mate. We have no strikers. We have no goal scorers. Now sure how you expect Mourinho to play ? He could play 4 upfront and we still wouldn’t score in a brothel. The attackers we are playing with are not natural goal scorers and never will be, so we are going to struggle to get the goals just as predicted. The club should of signed a natural target striker instead of Bergwijn, then gone for Bergwijn in the summer if we were that desperate. Or have some ambition for once and buy both Bergwijn and a striker. We sat on our a** and bought no striker once again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2-0 down you empty your bench, bring on Lamela, Dele, Gedson, give it ago, take off 1 or 2 of your centrebacks not bergwine, had all the 2nd half to do this, hes too cautious, we roll over too easy, no attempt to win or stay in that game, we could have lost by more but as least we have a go

Well I certainly didn't wish for Mourinho. I was quite happy with Poch.

Outside prospective. I do think you guys need a Mourinho type now. Never take being at the top for granted, which you are atm (3rd best in the country IMO), need to win trophies why'll your there.

If Allegri became realistic go for it, otherwise give Mourinho next year and see what happens.

If we don't finish in the top 4/5 this season and then go on to start poorly next season, then he'll probably be as good as gone. His second seasons have proved good league-wise in his last 2 jobs at United and Chelsea, and he may do the same here, but I wouldn't be surprised if he underwhelmed next season either. No guarantees he gets the right backing from Levy. Ultimately it might just come down to him not being good enough anymore to get the right tune out of us.

Give Mourinho a squad and he will more than likely win us a trophy, his record speaks for itself, but it might not be pretty at times.

Unfortunately our owners will not give him a squad capable of winning, so it will eventually all end in tears.

We need at least half a dozen quality players and a clear out of deadwood, a RB, LB, LCB, DM, CF and AM as a minimum. I bet we don`t see them.

Exactly.

Mourinho + blank chequebook = trophies, ugly football, ugly media coverage and all ends in tears.

Mourinho + no backing = no trophies, ugly football, ugly media coverage and all ends in tears.

Which is of course why some of us have been saying, since Pochettino was sacked, that Mourinho is just about the worst fit for Spurs' situation as any manager in the game.

Hes demonstrated that he will leave for the better opportunity.
If Enic tell him that they will back him with a significant transfer budget he is likely to go.

We didnt back up the already good team we had and let current players decline and lose interest and squad got stale with no new additions that summer. As soon as that happened I know things were inevitable eventually gonna be difficult.

Only a handful wanted poch sacked and they were the clueless, reactionary or levy sucking offy ones

Sir poch out currently already lost it with Jose because of his reactionary nature

And what was the excuse when we played the same negative football against the same side at our ground and lost when we DID have Kane and Son playing?

Mourinho's football is boring and I personally would rather watch exciting football and NOT win a trophy. He has adopted the same tactics every single place he has been even when he has not had injured players.

He does not like talented footballers who entertain we saw that when he had Joe Cole playing for him.

He was a diabolical choice to replace Poch, ok it was definitely time for Poch to go but Levy has proved time and time again that his choice of manage ris a total joke.

God knows how many managers he has appointed at Spurs but only two have been the right manager at the right time and that was Harry and Poch.

He appointed AVB for gods sake.

Jose was a dreadful appointment and I dont care who says give him a chance, I have given him a chance and there is more entertainment watching paint dry than there is watching a team sent out with that facking idiots tactics and strategies.

If the price of winning an FA Cup is the equivalent of a visit to the dentists every match day then you can poke the FA Cup where the sun dont shine.

I never wanted him sacked as he done so many good things for us but IMO it was time to move on.

His remarks that he might leave if we won the CL a couple of days before the final were more than enough to tell me that it was time for him to move on.
