Is it just my imagination or is Fred getting screewed by passes coming to him poorly, with a Watford player right on him? He was not to blame for several losses of possession. I realise a central midfielder needs good ball control but he got sold out too many times.

Agree with this generally. Got a couple of hospital balls. Could still have done a bit better and for me he’s not been as good as recently today.

hes adapted to the PL quickly, i suppose talented players do. Utd need to surround him with other quality players

It should be Matic coming off. With a back 2, he's Mack of pace is showing and putting a lot more pressure on Fred.
Started that half very sloppy, to many mistakes trying to play out from the back, thanks to Shaw, no harm done but that was a proper keystone cops moment from Maguire and Matic following Lindelof’s mistake
