Incidentally I require a draw at least, preferably a win on Friday - otherise it's going to be a long and miserable journey back from Carrow Road!

Thanks Nuneaton - at least someone understood the intention of my post and terrible humour 😂.
Florida - I totally agree with you, it’s not the vodka at all. Unlike the title winning season where it was torturous due to how much was at stake, this season has just been a pleasure to watch how Brendon has taken us on and unlocked the potential in the squad.
But the last 10 or so games have been tough, and our young squad is struggling to cope with the pressures of teams finding ways to play us along with a genuine challenge for the top four.
That has been frustrating to watch after such a good start. I want us to get our confidence back against Norwich as that could see us push on and push over the line. But lose and I think that the fragile confidence in the team will be shot, and that could result in a poor end to the season.
Let’s hope we get the win and push on.

I'm not entirely convinced there's going to be a Champions League next season with the pending pandemic fast approaching, the world could be on lockdown with world travel prohibited

It will have petered out by then. The world has gone into a media fuelled meltdown over a new runny nose virus basically. It’s as if Chinese AIDS has been invented

Hi BS, tell that to all the family's of the people who've died
^
Before this thread descends into a hotbed of anger, name-calling and recriminations, it's worth noting that this is not a mere seasonal flu, and nor is it Chinese AIDS. It's somewhere in the middle. Panicking about it does no good, but neither does dismissing it.
Clearly governments across the world are highly concerned about it and there are teams of people trying to help others and come up with the best strategies for limiting its damage and death toll. What we can do is be sensible and proportionate about it.
Come on guys - let’s not find outrage where there isn’t any. People die of cancer, flu, drug addiction, old age, etc etc etc daily. If we can never joke about any of these things then maybe corona should wipe us out to put ourselves out of our misery.
Now losing to Norwich on Friday - that would be cause for outrage!

Who's finding outrage? I was merely pointing out that this condition is potentially more serious than a runny nose - Jeez this page is full of hissy nit pickers
Football lads please.... You can go to the medical or BBC news sites to find your latest hysteria, drama or even maybe order yourself a mask?

My initial comment was about football, the Champions League to be precise
In response to your original comment, if there's a full pandemic by next season's Champions League then it probably won't matter any more as there would be little point locking anywhere down.
Initial........ Football
David Beckham starts his season this weekend with Inter Miami.
