How important to stick to methods you believe in?
When you see one model trying to improve it, it is advisable if you really believe that the model is the right one. When you change something that is not giving you a result even if you develop this model well it is like you don't have enough patience to wait for the result when you need to be patient to get the result. Sometimes it is better trying to improve the mode you have chosen then to change the model because you are not getting the results. Everybody talks about the plan B, and I don't agree with that. Because plans in football are not related to the distribution of players in the pitch. There are two big plans, if you are a protagonist all this speculation, linking the defence and attack with long passes on the floor, try to elaborate the play or play direct, one team that chooses to play more creative or destroy the plan of the opponent, those are the two plans in football. Two plans are good because you will find teams will win one way or the other way. What you cannot do is change the plan and think you will get results immediately because developing plan takes a long time and to improve it takes even longer. Normally it is understood you can change the plan playing with a line of three or four,m one playmaker or striker, with wingers or with full backs that attack and this is something that is not the most important any more but when everybody demands for change it is normal that people demand for these kind of things.
That's it!
Some decent answers from Marcelo who was in good spirits - and is ready for whatever Boro throw at Leeds.
It's a waiting game over both Phillips and Casilla with their injuries.
Thanks Sol, obviously no news yet on Kiko's charge.
No news is good news,(we hope !!!)
Nice on Sol. Appreciate you doing this every PC.

this comment answers directly to those who said we need to change to 442..
Cal, this is NOT directed at you by the way, the 442 conversation has happened all season from many, including yourself

rightly so Wilko..
Firstly, its got us to be full on promotion contenders from the second he came in.
Secondly, its the best football we've seen at ER.. for a long long time,
Thirdly, changing formations / tactics at this stage of the season screams desperation, and in the whole scheme of things, we don't need to panic.
Forthly, the players have bought into it, changing it now may / could send the wrong messages to them
changing it up now, is nothing short of lunacy
We can't change anything now. Only change could be last 20 if losing, can play 2 up top, but other than that, need to keep the same way of playing.
