Douglas on his way out?

Looked a cracking deal at the time. Been a total failure though, injuries haven't helped. I hope we go for Robertson of Wigan, his Milan deal fell through last minute and he'd be perfect for left wing back.

I thought it was a good deal, but he never delivered.

I’ve lost track of how many players we’ve tried at left back since AR took over.

Always a danger from buying players from cracking sides.

You never know how much they are been carried by other players

Shame. I also had high hopes for him. First couple
of games I thought we'd nailed that signing. Him and Cooper, both left footed, seemed to give us perfect balance. But, as many on here and elsewhere have
said he was a liability in the back four. And no dead
ball brilliance that I thought we were getting. Good
luck to him.

Is it true we must buy Augustin for 21 million if we go up, and if we don't go up we don't have to buy him?

That seems like the stupidest deal they've done yet, if true. How can this be possible?

Douglas has been very disappointing. I'm sure he's not too happy warming the bench or playing in the U23s either.

Sadly it looks like another player who promised much but delivered very little. Was it £3 Million we paid for him? Not a fortune these days but we got very little to show for it

Thought he was fine until he got injured at christmas last season then has never been fit, sometimes it just doesnt workout for a player,

To be honest I thought it was five.

It looked like such a good deal at the time, even better if it was only three we paid.

He just has not managed to make it here, which is a shame as I think there is a player there, just not one who it has, or can, work out for at Leeds

I've read several times that it's 17 mil if we get promoted (obligated) If we don't get promoted, we are not obliged to sign him but can do if JKA wants it. Mad people running the club.

Is Mendy not joining in the summer?

Been a let down for 3m. Cannot remember that wand of a left foot offering anything cross or free kick related.

He has been unlucky with injuries but I must admit, after Dallas he would be my left back choice. He adds balance and is a consistent 6.5 to 7 out of 10.

He was great that season for us, many stand out players but he may have been my favourite. Bit gutted about how it's gone for him at Leeds because he does possess quality. Bit of a weird one.

Good player that's not replicated his Wolves' form at ER. Unfortunate for him that we have better options ahead of him.

He was actually very good in the first half of last season, which gets forgotten a bit. We were top of the league, lost just 2 games in 23 and he was a key part of that team.

Just suffered too many niggling injuries, never back to full match fitness and Alioski and then Dallas have taken their chances.

He looked so slow this season

Id rather play him at LB than Alioski.

Phil Hay said the obligation to sign Augustin was dependent on him agreeing a contract with us. Suggests to me that if we go up and don't want him we could just lowball the contract and he refuse to sign for us, but that will.probably have a penalty in place.

Or just make it obvious to him that he in no way has a future at the club and he will be wasting his time utterly and completely in signing for us.

You dont even have to low ball him, justboffer him what he is on now for as long as he is on it.

I doubt a player would move for zero extra money and zero chance of playing

Depends. He might do it Leipzig made it clear they were selling him permanently in the summer.

If that is true and no reason to doubt it is rgw worst deal in the history if the club and we have had a few. Astonishing.

If we go up it is all about the brilliant coaching and performance of the players rather than contributions from those above.

Think they're referring to our super striker, signed in Jan, to much acclaim and fanfare - who likes Krispy Crème far too much …..

If it's Douglas my season ticket's getting returned in an envelope …..
