If this disease was as deadly as they make out why are they letting the old firm go ahead?

If this puts any question over 9IAR there will be a meltdown. If games played out behind closed doors is the only option, wouldn’t the tv companies televise every game? Make it a Pay Per View service and a % of income agreed to go to the clubs. At Least then there’s an audience if not crowds and clubs might avoid going to the wall
Ginger, I think the worst case would be all games and league are cancelled this season.
Cindy, hardly deadly? I think there’s over 6,000 deaths worldwide from what I read last night, that can’t be ignored. True the epidemic is elsewhere for now but that could all change quickly. Imagine if the UK was affected in the same way as china’s worst affected region. Imagine the outcry. The outrage! Doesn’t bear thinking about.
Flu kills 000’s every year, however you will not hear about this. There’s no whistle blower for something they already have a ‘vaccine’ for.

taly in hindsight would probably have much rather taken the action they have this week a few weeks ago when their cases were similar to ours now.
Completely agree on the sentiment spr.

Important to be mindful Experts ignore science all the time, I don’t see why this would be any different today.

Cant say they are worried about the spread of the virus while letting the biggest game of the season, with tens of thousands of people flood into Glasgow, go ahead. That makes zero sense.

If this game goes ahead then there is no excuse for cancelling any others.

A lad in my work is on a two week self isolate and he doesn't even support Rangers.

Of the 27 Corona cases in Scotland 19 are from travel and 8 from personal contact. Health Secretary @JeaneF1MSP says there is no community transmission so we remain in containment phase

BL apparently are not flying over until tomorrow as the pitch at Ibrox is in danger of cutting up if either side trains on it this week.
They will finish their prep tomorrow in Germany.
What's with the pitch anyway? has it got a disease, we had that a season or so ago, spent a fortune on it and it picked up some kind of disease that grass gets.

Anywhere that Alan McGregor spends a significant amount of time is bound to be riddled.

I'm guessing it just never got a chance to recover after it was waterlogged. It was beginning to see wear and tear before though.

But if its in danger of cutting up if trained on its safe to guess its going to be in some state for Sunday

The pitch is a disgrace and a contributing factor to our form.

A bonus against Leverkusen though tbf

The flu has a vaccine and still kills more. So I fail to see what they hope to gain from this scaremongering.

Does the tinfoil hat suit you?

There`s been so much rainfall in Glasgow over the last couple of months hense the watterlogged pitch! Poor drainage dont help either,or enough daylight hours, the stands are causing shaddows and they wont dryup anytime soon as long as its still raining and thats why in places the pitch will cut up. Be even worse if like they say their trying to do is lower it.

Wind dries the ground out better than sun.

Not much wind or sun gets to the Ibrox pitch.
