I just can’t see these leagues being completed. Come early April we’re supposed to be seeing the top of the spike. Surely that’s the most effective time to isolate as much as possible
The alternative is this “herd” theory where as many of us catch it as possible and build up resilience. In which case why cancel large gatherings?

Because they want to make it last until summer with a gradual curve instead of spiking. Large crowds would be more likely to cause that spike.
It just means that it's going to hang over all of us for most of the year, and there is always the possibility that there could be mutations and further spikes along the way, but governments are banking on the virus not surviving the warmer temperatures.
So we could be in the clear by mid June.

I agree-we’ve been handed every title up to now, might as well just give us this one as well.
I’m now hoping they do end the season and hand us the title. Bears will be going crazy about how we got 9 in a row. Them taking 5 years on their 4 year journey, McCoist getting his ar5e skelped with a ball as part of their training, Kenny McDowell taking over when he REALLY didn’t want to, Stuart McCall being given David Byrne’s suit to manage them for a few months, the next England manager, the Portuguese man of war, and then not even having to complete a season to get a title.

I honestly won't have a problem if Celtic are awarded the title but I really will laugh like f@ck if you don't.

It probably would, but I seriously doubt that’ll happen anyway. Of all the scenarios, I reckon that’s the least likely. At worst, it would probably delay things by a season.

Gotta feel for Liverpool they must have been hoping to keep going to get over the line.
Can't see them awarding anything on current positions unless it was already mathematically certain.
