Prem League will NOT be completed

So your article title states that the league ‘will not’ be completed, then the actual quote says he ‘believes’ it won’t be completed.

If you’re going to claim a scoop, get your story straight 👍

the head of the FA tells premier league chiefs he can't see it being completed.

that's as good as you're gonna get for it not completing till there's an official announcement

posted on 13/3/20

Of course it won’t be completed. Only a fool would believe otherwise

Completed or not, I doubt we’ll be seeing football for a long time.

I'm all for it being cancelled, even though it means another year in the fecking Europa League.

Peoples lives must come first.

What would the FA have to do with the running of the PL?

They're a special shareholder with veto power over appointments and new rules.

But have no say in the actual running of the league. It’s why the PL made the decision to suspend the league and not the FA

The legal challenges from the season not finishing and I assume not being counted? That would be incredible

So there’s nothing anywhere that states it isn’t going to be completed? Thought not..... Fake news

Deffo, it would probably delay any new season starting. West Brom and Leeds would be leading the charge with Liverpool fuming too

posted on 13/3/20

what legal challenges tho?

Liverpool might try I guess, but can Leeds and co really sue the PL with any hope of success?

my understanding is that they're invited to the PL if they win their league/promotion, but I don't believe its guaranteed.

the PL would face far more law suits trying to relegate bournemouth on goal difference or Villa 2 points away from safety having played a game less.

they might think it will be easier to deal with any challenge from the EFL than PL clubs

Money will always dictate how this plays out. UEFA are delaying the Euros by a year so they’re able to finish the CL campaign.

This gives the PL and EFL enough of a window to finish their leagues

This seasons games will be completed , there are 5 months to do it allowing for the next season to start in September.

The broadcasters will sue the prem league for over £1bn if they don’t honor their contract, they will make it happen that the league finishes

There could be no legal challenge over a national crisis. Any challenges would be thrown out of court in about five minutes.

Liverpool defence. My Lord, they wouldn't let us win a football division.

Judge. You do realise there are hundreds of people dying. Case dismissed.

I very much doubt any football will be played anytime soon. This thing is only going to get worse for a while

By April when this break is supposed to be over we’re probably gonna be like Italy

That’s why the euros are cancelled to allow time to finish the domestic leagues

Seems to be if your team has a chance of winning something you're willing to disregard a global health crisis.

This is the modern way.

So...they wait 30 years for a title, finally get it together and play an outstanding season (albeit with rivals off form) and just when they are going to celebrate, the season is voided.

Even I feel sorry for them, that’s incredibly harsh, it’s like god hates scousers...

not if its gonna impact the next season they also want to show. They both need each other. they will come to some form of agreement behind closed doors to make sure both are left whole.

Any solution that doesn't make Liverpool champions is ridiculous.

I think this finally settles the debate of how weak the league is this year, its so weak people are getting ill.
