Pubs self closing in Co.Tyrone 🥺 No sport on anywhere, sounds like schools over here will be ordered to stay shut until September. The Mrs is self employed and very worried about no work a month or two as it will close the premises she operates out off 😔 I suspect my work place will recommend home working from next week. Fear for the aul one as she needs social interaction as much as she needs the safety of social isolation all her wee social clubs have been closed. I hope to fvck therebis going to be some proper financial packages in place for the self employed who are not able to work because of this, we can't claim for anything as my income knocks us out straight away not that I earn anything remotely decent ☹ Right moan over possie vibes, hope you and your family come through this unscathed, healthy, emotionally and with minimal impact on your wealth 👍

Really worried I'll have to shut down.

Ironically this is likely to make me very busy but not until after it's away.

Your “ industry” will be run off its feet
Outside of getting forms signed can you not work remotely
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can but I won't be paid by the insolvency practitioners who are going to close.
They've told me I won't receive payments.

I'm signing a client today (they have stopped their staff doing the sign ups so either I do it or no pay) however they do expect to be closed completely at some point this week.

I thought they would be able to prepare paperwork etc from home and send me it however apparently their cash rooms won't be able to function.

I know they are big companies so slightly different to me paying staff however, I did not think they would be unable to complete a bank transfer on completion of my process.

as i Said if needed a shorter season for next season everyone knows when it starts
Again you cant change the rules mid season.
Granted if it ends up just cant be finished then the current rules say who is on top at the end of the season won, so end the season now then positions stand

That then means I can't advertise online as I do as there will not be funds.

That means no one to call.

No work

I can work from home, our business has set up measures to allow for this.

the shop floor however cannot, nor can the companies we purchase our components from.

A couple of shutdowns and we are t1ts up, and as an American owned company that will absolutely lead to redundancies.

might work in my favour, I pick up a shift every week in a childrens home these days so I might be able to pick up some more shifts there and go back to uni if I get a decent package, take a year off and do my masters degree.

What home are you working in?

serious question because I don't know.

are rangers in any danger here if they are not declared runners up?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
This may come across as cheap point scoring.

I certainly hope so!

Rangers are the only club in the country, afaik, that currently has a going concern warning. They lose around £1m a month in a good month. They have a high fixed cost base, no cash reserves and, probably, no access to credit.

I'm of the belief that they were heading for admin anyway and will use corona virus as an excuse.

celtic could lend rangers some money on a few conditions.

rangers adopt a catholic only signing policy

nae mare orange walks

nacho novo and james Traynor have to be fvkced by a herd of goats in georges square, non stop, for a month.

goats have to wear celtic tops.

every rangers fan has to admit they are a new club.

I've been in six cities in three days and just woke up in my own bed.

Should have been flying to Morocco today ☹️

Today will see me emailing various hotels and airlines to see if I can get refunds. I suspect they won't be keen to hand the money back...

Assune thar you've all seen the stuff from France about anti-inflammatories.....Nurofen, etc.

Best to get medical advice immediately if you are taking these.

Seen something saying it doubles the numbers. Helps the virus.

Unsure of the truth behind it

A senior French medic has said online that Ibuprofen works against the immune system so don't take it and take paracetamol instead.

Irish medical figures have rubbished it. Don't know the truth?

Understandable
They must have had so many cancellations
Who the fook is going to stay or book a hotel voluntarily now
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We had a look yesterday at hotel prices in Edinburgh for the next week. Prices are plummeting. I suspect there will be an awful lot of empty rooms.

Lots of the Facebook maws taking their kids out of school.
. Don't think I'd do this until I was told to
That said, so many think the UK are behind in terms of action.
No right answers I guess.

difficult one for kids, who watches them Is the issue?

mum and dad at work, so grandparents?

kids could be carriers and pass it on, but it doesn't seem to be effecting children.

imo, on that basis, safer at school.
