The season should just be annulled. No prizes given out. It would set an awful precedent if titles were awarded, if they had not been won. You cannot just relegate teams if they have only played two-thirds their games.
Season should just end now. And next season starts as soon as possible.

All clubs agree that it becomes a 66/67 game season by combining this season with a new one, we start at 0 points, and then each club at the end is deducted the gap in points compared to the 1st place (Liverpool) as it stands right now.

Say Liverpool for example get a long term injury to VVD and results suffer. It’s unlikely but not impossible they could be caught
I really think we could be looking at no football for a lengthy period of time so might even be possible that they just complete this season this time next year, assuming things return to normality

I really think the season should be resumed whenever it becomes possible. This could eat into the time required for the next full season of course so it’s very difficult to reach a satisfactory solution.

I don't mean carry the points over to next season - basically just restart this season whenever we can. If it fecks up next season's football calendar so be it.
There's EPL clubs that owe practically all their annual turnover to TV and broadcast money. Money they get from the FA once a season is wrapped up.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an overwhelming majority of club execs willing to forego a percentage of this season's payments and voting to end the season early.

I don't think there is ever going to be a scenario where things are fair. I mean we could carry on the season but you'll have things like contracts to contend with, and how are we supposed to continue with it if it ends up being too long a break which is looking likely?

We were in shocking form when the stopping of fixtures came in but also out injury situation had been ridiculous. We can usually cope without one of kane or Son but not both. Also Sissoko bring out has affected us especially as NDombele can’t get fit.
From purely a selfish POV the break gives our players time to recover from injury.
It’s all irrelevant in the grand scheme of things though

We were in shocking form when the stopping of fixtures came in but also out injury situation had been ridiculous. We can usually cope without one of kane or Son but not both. Also Sissoko bring out has affected us especially as NDombele can’t get fit.
From purely a selfish POV the break gives our players time to recover from injury.
It’s all irrelevant in the grand scheme of things though

There would be an asterisk next to this season with Liverpool winning it, and with good reason.
Never mind being the most legitimate title win ever with VAR scrutiny, the fact that the team overcame a global pandemic to triumph would make it the greatest title win ever.
Asterisk, bring it on, never in recent history would a team have had to overcome such difficulties to win the league.
