Taking the current places as final is a non starter as teams have got games in hand, easier run ins.....etc.
Its between null and void or play to a finish when they can.

There's not much point debating amongst ourselves because everyone has too much self interest to form a valid opinion. It's the clubs that will have to vote on it.
We know that the following teams would back a null and void season:
Man City
Man utd
Spurs
Arsenal
The 3 teams in the relegation zone.
West ham
Brighton
Everton
We need to petition the rest to vote against Liverpool.
west ham are actually 16th which is good for them, which makes it strange why Brady said what she said
You clearly can't count existing positions as final as some teams (i.e. Villa, Arsenal, Sheff U) have games in hand. Wins for any of those teams could keep them up, get them into Europe etc. I know my team has been absolute dog poo for most of the season but it doesn't deserve that, I'm sure Bournemouth and Norwich would say the same.
So the only option is to declare it null and void if those are the only options, sorry Liverpool.

Easy enough, start with scrapping the midwinter break = 2 weeks
Scrap the international breaks. 6 weeks
Scrap league cup 4 weeks
Scrap FA Cup. 6 weeks
That's 18 weeks/ 4 months made available. That's without shortening the close season.
No surprise those clubs that have had seasons to forget are the ones wanting it scrapped.

Only four clubs backed void when it originally came up. Spurs certainly weren't one of them as Levy wants the revenue with Spurs having mostly home games left.

To a man, every Liverpool fan has said we should carry on whatever the weather.
That is to be expected. But sick of hearing how some are being judged. They're only saying scrap it because they aren't having a good season.
How about we want it scrapped for the health of the nation?
On the flip side, are Liverpool fans thinking about the safety and future of football?
Or are they saying we finish no matter what?
I'd say the 'pool fans are the ones being biased and tribal.
I'd do the same, but let's not pretend here.

What's the point of starting a new league if it's going to last five years? Just because United have been crap and Liverpool have all but won the league shouldn't change opinion on it.
Liverpool are one game away from winning it and you want it scrapped? That's ridiculous.
When it all dies down that opinion will look even more bitter than it does now.
When it is safe to do so, the league will finish. You can't just scrap leagues and start new ones ffs

Of course, and no surprise Liverpool fans want the season finished one way or another.
If it were me and the season was declared null and void I'd still give Liverpool the title - it's pretty obvious you're going to take at least 6 points from the final 9 games. Deciding European places and relegation is far more contentious and finishing the season would of course help to resolve that. So of course you'd hope that it can restart again.
But if this drags on to July/August I really think it would be a waste of time to try to finish the season and completely screw with the dates for next season, especially with the Euros now due to take place in 2021. If we ended up finishing this season in summer/autumn there'd be no time for next season and we'd have to write it off, meaning no football again for 7/8 months ffs!
