My prediction
No winners or relegation, but we go with where we are for places in Europe
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mine is no decision and keep delaying until the league can be picked up and finished or it becomes impossible at which point current standings prevail.

in Scotland, for many clubs the prize is third spot.

1 point seperates Aberdeen and hearts.

seems unfair.

I think we should do this.

Contracts can be rolled on for a month, loans can be extended, if they want to do it then they can.

I don't think that should come into it although the clubs can do that if they want.

No club has a set squad at the beginning of the season and anything can change in the January transfer window so this shouldn't come into it at all

Some clubs wouldn't be able to field a team

Issue with the players’ contracts though is how they would feel about extending for maybe only a month or 2, especially if at the smaller clubs. Listening to Wishart, he thinks that would create more problems if for instance a player picks up an injury, then who pays for treatment?

You’ve then got the loan deals with much the same scenario.

I think much the same as ginger. They’ll give the current situation as long as possible, and if it doesn’t look feasible to play the games, then just declare the leagues as is.

Why not?

If it's about them going out of business that happens at the best of times. Someone else would take their place as would normally happen

Due to the amount of players being out of contract

Players will need paying and will be available. They won't sit out of contract when clubs need players and they want a wage.

Yet it's realistic

Players will be available. Clubs (those who survive - and they mostly will in one form or another, or be replaced) will need players.

Can all of the clubs afford a wage with next to no income.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Possibly not.

Then they may go bust, or dare I say, trade whilst insolvent.

Like I said, far too simplistic.

Just replace clubs?! So, how does that work to see the season out? Does a new club that comes in get the points of the club it replaces?!

I think you’re being overly dismissive of the possible issues.

Players didn’t want to play behind closed doors, despite other workers having to go do their jobs in potentially more dangerous environments. The unions aren’t going to roll over on this.
