The SFA have already confirmed they can finish the Scottish cup next season, only 3 games to be played and next season's scottish cup for those 4 teams won't begin until January 2021.

In this unusual time I would be advocating we play the games medical staff or not.

Sunday league games all season with no medical staff and the challenges in those games are worse.

Players I will grant you may be against it, it is their career after all, but they take that risk every game.

I admit Call Sign that you make a good argument and have indeed made a case for not having closed door games, but I still disagree with you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The other point would be the PSG example, behind closed doors, but thousands of fans still gathered outside, dont think you could stop that

I don't think anyone in Scotland would do that to be fair mate.

That's more hardcore ultra's etc. and it was for European games/nighttime.

We could play games midweek 3pm etc too.

I have yet to hear one decent argument for not having closed doors games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You have, you just don't want to accept them.

No medical staff at a professional football match? Full bloodied challenges. What happens if someone gets a nose breaker like Tierney or a leg break like Larsson?

Sorry mate you'll need to get a taxi to hospital the team physio has to stay for the rest of the game with the magic sponge
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's right though

They are not needed , both teams have physios

These are different times and we do not need an ambulance on site just incase ....

I think it's one thing we could certainly manage without

If that game was in Paris this week that wouldn't happen.

Apparently heaps of businesses aren't covered by their insurance, even if the Government orders them to close.

Gutting for businesses but can understand the insurance firms position.. they'd be at thr at of going under due to the volume of claims.

Pretty much our entire world economic system is under threat due to this pandemic. Potentially long term societal and economic changing circumstances that this virus could be about to induce.

Crazy times.

Of course the government could elect to borrow hundreds of billions more to bail out companies if the insurance firms won't.. but that'll have a decades long impact on future revenue and spending.

Aye the vast majority.

Won't stop people going on Facebook blaming the tories.

If all of these revolutionary groups that have been kicking about for decades are serious.. now is the perfect time to try and implement serious changes to how the world economy works, and also domestically. There will never be a better chance for them to pressure governments into change, especially if markets continue to struggle and drop.

The majority of people's pensions are tied up with the markets. Could be looking at hundreds of thousands of people losing out on their pension etc in the near future.

Mass unemployment if/when businesses layoff employees and inevitably fold a few weeks later. It's mental to think of the impact this virus will have on our way of life.

Gonna take years probably to recover.

Tory, Labour, SNP, Lib Dem, Green etc... doesn't matter a fook right now, it is and should be being treated like war time politics and cross party decisions should be encouraged.

Reading about estimates for deaths in the UK. They initially thought up to 260,000, but have now revised that to 50,000 and anything below 20,000 would be a good result.

We’re sitting at 71 in the UK just now, and 8,012 worldwide.

That seems quite a leap to me.
