We’re in uncharted territory. It’s not an easy thing to just make any decision.
If you were to err on the side of foreseeable caution with any sense of certainty, we’d be saying forget football for 18 months as by then we’re likely to have a vaccine.
See what happens then. Even we would struggle to survive that. It was less than a week ago that games started being called off. A week. Take that in

It may take until the end of April to start playing. The players can return mid April to start training properly. Then Saturday and midweek games until we finish. 8 league games and potentially 2 cup game. We can be done by mid June.

Sorry but there’s not a hope in hell we’ll be playing football any time soon. It only takes one club to refuse to play behind closed doors. Not a chance will spectator events in decent numbers happen any time before late Autumn or even into next year.
They’re not just going to start to get a sense of control in the next 3 months or so and then shout out “back to normal”.
People aren’t really getting this and it’s drip feed of bad news.
The other alternative is the world has got this horribly wrong and there will be deaths in the realms of tens of thousands worldwide and we live with it.
Nobody knows.
