If Pogba goes and he won’t sign a quality attacking midfielder we’re almost back to square one if Bruno gets injured.
I’d try sign Grealish anyway but we 100% need to pursue him or someone like him if Pogba goes.

I think Matic will stay as cover, but we need a top player to at least challenge Fred and McT. If Pogba goes, two injuries in midfield and we’re facked.
RW I see as Greenwood’s to lose now. James is a different option and competition. A top player would of course be welcomed though.
CF, even if it is just locking Oghalo down for another season, is absolutely critical.
I just see Grealish as so far down the list of priorities that it doesn’t make sense.

In such a case we will need a DM who is an upgrade of Matic to make it work. Both Fred and McTominay tend to work better with a partner beside them rather that doing the role by themselves.

Depends. Say we get 10-15 mill each for Lingard and Pereira then it would be well worth it.
If the club hangs onto its useful players- i.e. doesn't sell or loan them without better replacement - then a core of awb, Shaw, maguire, Jones, smalling, matic, pogba, fernandes, James, Ighalo needs to supplemented with:
A proper gk
A replacement equal or better for Mata
Left winger
Couple of proper centre forwards
If the club insists on retaining the likes of rashford and martial then they need to be recognised as 60th minute subs

Italy and Spain are in dire situations right now. The league campaigns there are in a much worse limbo state than ours. Doubt Pogba will be moving to either one anytime soon.
