Great team Robb, but I'll go with.
Stepney
Brennan. Foulkes. Dunne.
Crerand. Charlton. Stiles.
Best. Law. Kidd. Connelly.
Your team Robb would have stuffed mine, but I couldn't leave three of mine out. And George would be the star in any team.

That’s just an insane team. Would love to have seen them play.
I'd actually fully agree with Robb's team. More than a little bit because it was when I first started following football and United. It was also a very settled and undisputed first eleven. And there's also the slight sense if injustice that they weren't allowed the opportunity to perform on the European stage together as a unit, due to the 4 foreigner rule
I'd also go with Robb's team, with the likes of Lee Sharpe and Brian McClair knocking on the door. An amazing era to grow up watching football. That team played with speed and flair, but they were also real characters and many were household names even to those who didn't really watch football. That side really was the stuff of legends.
