I don't think we're start back up until next year tbh
Re football clubs and spending big money, I don't think anything will change that noticeable
No idea how it'll pan out, but I would like to see the rich PL clubs buying from the lower leagues to inject some cash. Sounds like Barnet among others could be in serious trouble.
Economist friend of mine says there is a strong possibility up to 60% of clubs will be bankrupt if this runs for 4 months. I cannot see government or banks supporting clubs with crazy wage bills either when so many others SME's are in trouble. No TV money, no gate money, no match day food money, it's a perfect poo storm for football as well as other sports.

Do you know if there's any research behind that? Not meant in a patronising way, just interested.
They need to play out the reminder of the games this season, assuming that all the clubs will be back in full and that the games are completed. Right now, some clubs have players in self-isolation and some are struggling financially. Good luck with that!
Disband them all and start again for a laugh
Daniel Levy has already taken money for this season, all games sold out. Although he may have to refund if the season is abandoned. I have purchased tickets for all but the West Ham game until the end of the season.

I understand David Moyes has won the March manager of the month for West Hams longest unbeaten run in 7 years...
Just cancel the season, and stop thinking of trophies and money while people are dying. Shameless

Nah I dont think anything should be cancelled
Just pause it all.
Be interesting to how many clubs, if any, can continue to support huge wage bill with little to no income if the current situation carries on for a reasonably long length of time?
Could we actually see many relatively solvent big clubs just releasing players as they cannot continue paying players?
When football eventually is given the green light to start again, could we see some sort of draft system implemented, or a big bunfight?

Unless said players are out of contract no way can they simply release players without paying out the full amount owed. Or go into administration. Crazy times ahead.
By the time football has started, money will be rendered basically useless when literally trillions will be printed out of nothing just to bail out every business and household nationwide and most likely world wide.
so if anything transfer fees will probably go up when football is back

If football doesn't matter as Rio says then just cancel the season and give the title to Liverpool and move on. No big deal. Some things are more important than football.
