Yes it should be, along with all cities with a population of over 100,000

The confirmed cases don't paint an overall picture of how many cases we actually have in this country.

We have a policy of not testing anybody until it's the last option, compared to a nation like Germany who do community based testing and have discovered 22,000 cases.

We hardly test and we have around 5/6 thousand cases... the entire country potentially has tens of thousands of cases up and down the country we don't know about.

In my opinion it's to late to only lock off certain areas, we were told by Chinese scientists about Covid-19 on the 10th of January and we still haven't locked down. One of the reason why I laugh when people start rating certain members of the current government.

The only option we have left is to lock down the entire country, take the economic hit and enforce curfews with police and soldiers.

Surely though the greater the population per square mile the greater the chance of spread.

London not only has the greatest density of population per square mile than anywhere else in the UK it also has the greatest links and movement to the rest of the World.

I think tat the government should place more draconian measures than the likes of a rural community in say Northumberland,Cumbria or Yorkshire

Bit unfair that Kung Fu. List me the countries that had a lock down in January. We are all wise after the event.

Evening KFC

Boris just got tough with us.

Two weeks late, but wise.

People need to be told...and punished, sadly.

Oh no, she isn’t hoarding stuff. She is just going to boutiques and that kind of place.

Places the silly old boot doesn’t need to be going to.

"Most areas outside London have few confirmed cases per capita"

Without wanting to sound like a conspiracy nut, the first figures are wrong.

My constituency had no confirmed cases even though somebody died on 15/03, this didn't come out until 21/03. The second person confirmed dead yesterday died 19/03.

They aren't testing in my area until dead, there are stories from NHS workers that it's far more serious than Boris will have us know.
