Last night was supposed to clear up the grey areas, now we have self employed, business owners and parents unsure where they lie in regards to going to work.

I understand the concerns for self employed folk, it's a scary time. But health is wealth and some things are more important than your bank balance.

Look at this train this morning, absolute disaster. How are we supposed to stop the virus spread when this happens every day?

Those who idiots need to take responsibility and wait a few minutes for the next tube

The tubes are on reduced service Busby, if people are gonna be late for work they’ll be getting punished. What do you expect them to do?

Currys and Sports Direct open trying to cash in. Tbh they should act like responsible owners and shut. It shouldn't be all about the government.

posted on 24/3/20

Cool, then you can pay them the money they’ll be penalised for becoming late then.

posted on 24/3/20

Sports direct is shut now Cal, the government forced them to. Electronic shops remain open which Curry’s can fall into.

Good although they had to be shamed into it. Are Electrical shops on the essential list ?

I've never heard of staff being penalised.

Not that it matters, if people are happy to put others lives at risk to get to work on time they're not good people.

Boris advised electrical stores should close.

Sports direct are not open.

Robb, stop dividing the board with your constant #GoveOut articles, I know you want Rishi in, in the summer, but we're sick of hearing about it. Rishi has never won a corona battle anyway, so we have no idea how he would do

get punished or spread a killer virus.... hmmmmm now which one to choose.

the chances are a large portion of these people are not essential workers either

You can't accuse him of being inconsistent. 'Who don't we want? When don't we want him? Now.

there always will be, this is an unprecedented situation and questions are always going to come up because not every situation can be thought of.

Indeed but that doesn’t mean we can’t hold a dithering government to account when they continue to act at a snails pace while other countries show us the way forward

maybe but you cant solely blame the government.

if people actually used their common sense to a degree it would be step in the right direction... the main problem the government has is they actually thought half the country actually had common sense.

noone wanted a complete lockdown, but morons flocking beaches and parks have caused this next step

I don't believe anyone outside the senile haven't got the message. Surely they can figure out what is essential by themselves.

i dont think its that simple.

i work in a car dealership.. we are waiting for the board to decide if we are an essential company

posted on 24/3/20

Well we all have our own circumstances so I can't really judge. But if it were me I would phone in and say I'm not coming in and if the company sacked me/refused to pay me I would take them to a tribunal.

ps I wouldn't work at a car dealership because I probably couldn't sell anything.
