Not quite a carthorse but agree that Kane is overrated as are other current England strikers like Rashford and Vardy. Its just a poor era for strikers hence why Kane is spoken of so highly.
If Kane was a boxer he'd be a Henry Cooper in the age of Ali, Foreman and Frazier. Decent but not top class

Genuinely think that like Spurs he is on the wane. Perhaps its due to injuries or maybe he's losing his mo jo having played for the club for so long and winning feck all but his stats and general ral play aint as good as it was 2-3 years ago.
Might need a change to reinvigorate his career. Be criminal if a player of his talent didn't win anything.

Drogba absolutely was an out-and-out striker. He was literally a modern #9.
A misconception is a woman waiting to get married.
Key passes is the worst stat going. It essentially means pass that leads to the shot. xA is much better but unfortunately metrics before 2013 are non-existent.
Drogba 09/10 0.8 long balls
Drogba 11/12 0.5 long balls
Kane 18/19 1.6 long balls
Both strikers primarily played as lone striker in 4231 systems. Desperate.

Drogba is a monster and a winner don’t get me wrong, but Harry Kane is one of the best strikers on the planet right now. You can argue a case for both, but I wouldn’t go as far to say “zero doubt” Drogba is better. Drogba is one of the best strikers ever in the Prem, but so is Harry Kane.

Not quite a carthorse but agree that Kane is overrated as are other current England strikers like Rashford and Vardy. Its just a poor era for strikers hence why Kane is spoken of so highly.
If Kane was a boxer he'd be a Henry Cooper in the age of Ali, Foreman and Frazier. Decent but not top class

Genuinely think that like Spurs he is on the wane. Perhaps its due to injuries or maybe he's losing his mo jo having played for the club for so long and winning feck all but his stats and general ral play aint as good as it was 2-3 years ago.
Might need a change to reinvigorate his career. Be criminal if a player of his talent didn't win anything.

A misconception is a woman waiting to get married.
Key passes is the worst stat going. It essentially means pass that leads to the shot. xA is much better but unfortunately metrics before 2013 are non-existent.
Drogba 09/10 0.8 long balls
Drogba 11/12 0.5 long balls
Kane 18/19 1.6 long balls
Both strikers primarily played as lone striker in 4231 systems. Desperate.

You seem to have some weird hatred of Spurs on here. Bit odd being a Wolves fan. I’m a huge Drogba fan, but I would hardly say “zero doubt”. Drogba is a monster and a winner don’t get me wrong, but Harry Kane is one of the best strikers on the planet right now. You can argue a case for both, but I wouldn’t go as far to say “zero doubt” Drogba is better. Drogba is one of the best strikers ever in the Prem, but so is Harry Kane.

Yeh Wolves Top flight success can be condensed into six seasons 1953-59, having spent nearly 50 years of their existence in the lower leagues, before and since. Hardly something to be crowing about.

Most of Drogba’s key passes were knock downs for Lampard to shoot on sight. Doesn’t make him a better passes than Kane.
