What is your issue with Richard Branson?
I have met the guy and dealt with him when he was hands on trying to break the monopoly of BA and their Atlantic route.
He came across as genuine and a like-able guy.
Maybe I have missed something and he has become a since then.
Simply boycott every company he owns and buy from a rival company no matter the price difference.
His businesses will soon wilt and die

Exactly. The Government needs to make sure that any bailout money is used for what it is intended for.
The US Senate had to put in loads of provisos in their latest bailout to stop company’s using bail out money for stock buy backs which is exactly what happened after the financial crisis eleven years or so back.
All the airlines are run by s ... 90%+ of profits have gone to share buy backs instead of building a real world financial buffer.
If you want the benefits of capitalism, then be prepared to die by it's rules too.

And what did he do with it?
I think it’s more that he asked his staff to go 8 weeks unpaid despite having a personal fortune that meant he could have paid for their salaries and not noticed.
Mind, I don’t see the PLclubs doing very much, despite being paying obscene washes and generating huge profits. I feel they could do a hell of a lot more than the token gestures we’ve seen, but as always they are greedy.

Bad Richard Branson for reinvesting it back into the NHS. The same that Virgincare has done with any profits that they have made from their multiple NHS Contracts.

How exactly do you legistate against both high-street and investment bankers funnelling our bailouts into risky but high-yield 3rd world government bonds just like they've been doing since 2008?
These are businesses at the end of the day. Trying to micromanage how they spend our bailout money is practically impossible.

People who don't get the Branson hate either have no problem with billionaire tax avoidance and those who want to destroy a health service for their own profit or are simply ignorant of them.
A lot like with B Johnson, these people clearly have trouble looking at actions and can only see the appearance and little beyond that.
